I think Sami’s experience with nearly being executed makes her more sensative to others being falsely accused. That is the main reason she is helping ej

I read about an Alzheimers story also.  I think that would be great as it was suggested when Caroline switched Parker’s DNA test and the change in her personality.  From having and uncle that had Alzheimers it was changes in personality that started first and it wasn’t that noticeable to the immediate family until about 5 years later when the diagnosis was made.  Then the lightbulb went off and the changes made sense.

or perhaps in this case, back, to justify her actions?  But didn’t they blame it on her stroke back when it happened?

Wishful thinnking but maybe the new writers actually did some homework before planning out future storylines

Sami completely because I feel the same way about EJ, even though so many people dislike him.

But, you’ve got to admit, when those two get together, they certainly can cause some intense heat.  I think both James and Ali have what it takes to make their scenes watchable.

They actually make me tune out.  When they are on I don’t even want to watch the show at all.. FF or not.

I love thinking of her motivation toward E.J. as what you just expressed, rfsexton.  Sami is bashed so much for her antics with the men in her life, as well as her rash decisions, it’s nice to read a non-critical post about her for a change.

I can see the sparks coming out from their fingers when he just takes her hand in his.  I don’t recall another couple with their dynamic chemistry, including E.J. and Nicole, who I know you hope he gets back together with at some point.  But, then, I also see Sami and E.J.’s level of toxicity as well.  They’re oil and water!

why is she playing suckface with EJ if she’s only there to help him prove that he’s innocent?

I was thinking the same thing.  It is one thing to sympathize with EJ"s predicament. It is also acceptable to help him find the real killer. It doesn’t explain having a romantic dinner and wine instead of planning and looking for evidence!!

I think that Sami needs to step back and look realistically at how she feels about EJ. She needs to decide what she wants from her relationship with him. Is he her friend, the father of her children  or somethihng more? Until she does, she shouldn’t be with Lucas, Rafe or anyone!!!!

I guess she is lucky she works for EJ or she wouldn”t have a job!!!

how she feels about EJ she needs to figure out why she is always in such desperate of needing a man in her life and what is her driving force to jump so quickly from one to another.  She pledges her undying love and affection to one and before the sheets get washed, there she goes off with another one.

Next she needs to figure out why she is in such intense need of attention and her propensity to always blame someone else for the results of HER actions and decisions.  She does this so consistently in spite of her always claiming  "I have changed."  Yeah, changed into what?

I think it’s time we let Sami go to work, come home, play with her kids and take care of her home and family.  Then get some serious counceling (NOT from Marlena, of course) and get her off this path of destruction she is so wont to follow.  If there is a classic case of a soul calling out for help, it’s name would be Sami Brady, et. al.

It’s almost as if she’s sadistic when she’s around him and he’s in "poor me" mode.  I can totally see her as feeling sorry for him.  I don’t deny she should hate him for the rest of his life; somehow, she can’t make that happen.  My hope is that the new writers will take into consideration the fact that they need to *hit or get off the pot where Sami is concerned.  They should put her with one man and stick with it, but her now having three men in her life at the same time needs to stop.  Right now I don’t care if that’s Rafe, Lucas or E.J., just stop the back and forth game she has goin’ on right now.  That, or give her a reason to think and act the way she does with everyone.  Write her a story line where she’s discovered to have some sort of mental/clinical illness that explains why she does these insane things, like bipolar disorder (but don’t screw it up like they did with Jack’s PTSD).  That might work for some, but Sami now is beginning to become too psychotic, even for me.

I still watch Sami and EJ on screen.  I’ve decided that she is mentally ill and needs in-depth psychiatric treatment to stop this insane behavior when it comes to her and men.  I know it’s only a TV show, but it is difficult to actually watch a woman behave the way Sami does around EJ after the horrific deeds he has purposely inflicted on her and her family.  It no longer works for me to just say "oh well…that’s just how Sami is."

Sami wasn’t "kidnapped" so how is it Stockholm "Syndrome?"
