So Sami applied for a FED job as "clerical" and Rafe is going to "help" her get it? What happened to civil service testing and ranking lists? I spent over 28 years as a government employee – unless you are appointed by a Senator/Representative for their office or the Gov. of a state while they are in office – you can’t get a federal or state civil service job. Civil Service exams are required for all professionals, administrative, clerical, and the Postal Service. I call foul!
Nope. Sammi would have to get a security clearance for this type of FED job and she would never get one based on her longtime antics. Actually very few people in Salem would pass a real background check particularly the members of the police dept.
not to mention…she is cozy with the number one crime family in Salem. Has 2 children with the Son of Stefeno..
She will make it all about how wronged she is being done by Rafe and go cozy up with EJ. ERRRR that girl, I wanna slap some sence into her. I almost couldnt watch yesterday, when she was talking about how much EJ has changed.
OH when is she going to spend time with Sydney?? Sami is always leaving her with babysitters.
My brother works for the FBI and no way with Sami’s colorful history could she make the cut. And thinking Rafe can simply drop a good word and she’s in – LOL! But of course, this is Salem where the implausible happens daily.
One thing I know – Rafe will never get a day’s work in if Sami is in the building!This is absolutely preposterous! No way could she ever get security clearance. Federal jobs are not easy to get. Sami has had such a colorful past–in a bad way–and there is no way she could qualify to work there. I certainly wouldn’t give her a job.
Has Sami’s past ever been documented on record or is she like the rest of Salem, got off scott free. I know she was on death row for Franco’s murder but when Kate had that other guy confess and Sami got off wasn’t all charges dropped since she didn’t commit the murder at all. Could that be held against her?
I just came back from vacation and have missed the last 8-10 episodes. A fed job? LOL. That’s great. My one stint with a fed job required an "FBI" check that required me to provide the address of every residence I’ve had for the last 15 years and at least one reference (not a relative) for each location. I was 19 at the time and had to call my mom to find out where we lived when I was 4 and the name of a neighbor who knew me.
Can you imagine Sami asking for extention forms for her to be able to include every name she’s ever gone by?
I laughed when Rafe told Sami that she would not pass the background search and Sami became so indignent and hurt. Her immaturity was showing as she turned the blame on him, completely refusing to acknowledge that she worked years to develop that checkered background. Not only that, her only clerical experience was at the hospital where she excelled at switching lab results etc! No way the FBI would ever hire her.
without directly saying it out loud, made it crystal clear that he knew, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that Sami would never be able to keep a secret, which I think is another reason he flatly turned down recommending her. I don’t blame him. Why make himself AND the Bureau look bad; Sami would blab anything she saw, heard or uncovered in that office faster than it took Nicole to get out of jail free.
