with Sami yesterday for not telling him about the ransom notes.  I agree that he should be angry with her, and I also wonder just how long before he gets fed up with her unhealthy attachment to EJ.  Rafe told Sami he was right to not trust her.  I am surprised that he has put up with Sami and EJ for this long.  I am looking forward to a show down between EJ and Rafe; how about you??

But, after the showdown, I REALLY wish Rafe would dump Sami right on her deceitful rear-end. She has got to be the dumbest character on the show right (except for maybe Mia).  Rafe could do so much better;  even Carli would be better than Sami. Honestly. that immature woman makes me ill.

is to drive Sami and Rafe apart and this is the perfect way to drive a wedge between them. It could be that he either wants Sami for himself or that he just wants her miserable.

Sami has been a complete idiot to trust E.J. to begin with, let alone withhold the fact that they received the note, which, we know, of course, was just another E.J. lie to keep her in the dark.  I hope they bust Anna, too, because like E.J. told her, she’s in this up to her eyeballs and deserves to go down with E.J.  As for Rafe and Sami, Rafe is such a sweetheart that in time I think he will forgive Sami, unless, of course, she allows E.J. to pull her back into his tentacles….I mean arms….but if Nicole had to go down, I hope these crazy writers don’t let E.J. and/or Anna just walk on this.  Hopefully this WILL end by February sweeps, so I do have something to look forward to with this sl.

I don’t think this is the end for Sami and Rafe, in fact in the end it may make them stronger.  But for now, Rafe is very angry and I think he will stay that way.  But notice he is still doing anything to help Sami.  So I do think he trully loves her, he is just very upset that she would not trust him.

…but I’m on Sami’s side here.  The ransom distinctly told them NOT to tell ANYONE and that’s exactly what she did.  Heck, Rafe was investigating anyway so what’s the difference.  If it was my child and the father was willing to pay the ransom, I don’t think I’d tell anyone either.  Of course, we know what’s going on on the other side so we tend to be too hard on Sami.

Which is why I think in the end Rafe will be fine.  I think the initial response is because he is upset she didn’t trust him.  But I think as time passes he will calm down and see her side.

I don’t mind what Sami is doing, other than she is trusting EJ.  Her instinct was to tell Rafe and EJ talked her out of it.  I feel she is depending on EJ to make decisions and she needs to make decisions for herself.  She should know better than to trust EJ.

you learn in cop/fed school – you never negotiate with terrorist, kidnappers or bad folks.  You may listen to their demands, you can give them food and water, but you do not give them ransom money, get away cars, or anything else.  So I think telling Rafe is a good thing – he’s a cop and has more resources than Sami (albeit, she doesn’t know she’s dealing directly with the number one kidnapper – EJ).  She should trust Rafe.  And why isn’t Bo and Roman more involved in this matter 1. Sydney is family, 2. they are law enforcement – the Fed’s would welcome local sources (in spite of what you read in books and see on TV these days).

You see him talking on the phone with people all the time about Sidney and you hear him talking about the case to others all the time.  Since he is involved in his own SL, you just don’t see him totally involved.  But I think it is cool the writers have worked in it, so you know he is on the case.

I just think that Sami’s character is designed to to be a loser, in love….She cannot trust with all her heart. And she will DO what it takes to make things go her way, and that is what causes her to lose in the end…Ok, I have to say it, she’s the biggest loser!!  But, eventually she will lose Rafe…IMO, cause he has scruples….and won’t put up with her cheating.

are suppose to do more than just a phone call or two and chatting with people about an investigation – Bo doesn’t even show up to the cop shop anymore.  I wouldn’t want Bo on any kind of investigation in my neighborhood.   Yes, you are correct, he does have a seperate story line, (one we’ve all seen a million times).  I’d rather see Bo do his job as police commissionar and solve this Sydney case with Rafe.  One big happy ending with the good guys winning by finding Sydney and actually putting EJ (and Anna) in the same cell as Nicole. (That would be a hoot!) I think that EJ is teflon though and Anna may take the fall for this.

All in all, it would be great to see some folks do an actual job or follow their profession for once in Salem other than a waitress pouring coffee or a nurse carrying a clipboard at the nursing station.  Lexie actually cared for patients for awhile, even Stephanie was "behind" the wheel of a race car once upon a time,  Mel was emptying bedpans just a few weeks ago and Roman and Bo used to sit behind their desk at least at the cop shop and bark orders at uniformed cops – it is just more realistic when the character’s are doing every day things like the rest of us have to do (even for in short scene) – when’s the last time Sami changed a diaper on screen with when her kids were smaller or feed the kids (even though the kids have been absent for quiet awhile now), even Mom’s don’t have to do their jobs in Salem.

and should be putting E.J. in his place as well as Sami.  He sees what’s happening here, and I do believe that in the end he will forgive Sami, but for now he’s pissed, and I think their relationship will suffer if they don’t find Sydney soon, but I have no hope of that happening before sweeps, or even then.  I hope I’m wrong, because, God knows, I am totally sick to death of watching Sami overact (and I do mean overact, not overreact), E.J. continually have the upper hand with everyone, Anna be so consumed by her lust for money that she has become blind to her fate in all of this, and Stefano not being involved at all, even though I have my suspicions that he will soon be, and poor, sweet Rafe hanging onto a dream of life with Sami and ALL of her children.  Yeah, we all know that’s NEVER gonna’ happen.  To me, the writing is beginning to slide downhill again, and this storyline is a perfect example of it.

I would rather have Bo finish this Carly SL nonsense than see him once awhile in the cop shop.  You have to assume from the phone calls and talking to people about the case that he is working on it offscreen.  So to me, if he doesn’t finish this Carly nonsense onscreen we will NEVER be done with this SL.

I always keep in mind that the show is only 1 hour a day and with commercials only about 45 minutes.  So I would rather hear people having jobs than seeing them with jobs.  Unless of course that job is critical to the SL (Dr. Dan saving Bo, Rafe with Sydney disapearance, etc).  But unless it will move the SL forward, I could care less what they are doing with their job.  Because I feel if they did show the jobs more and they didn’t move the SL forward, then we would have SL longer than we already do.  Which many times SLs move too slowly already for me.

So now when it comes to Bo, what is him doing at the copshop going to move this SL with sidney forward? No, not really.  Because there are NO leads right now except these letters.  Which the feds are taking care of.  So let him resolve his own SL, while getting calls which makes you assume he is doing more offscreen to help.

He said this is the FBI’s case and they are only giving him information as a courtesy.  I think it is very common for local PDs, once the FBI steps into a case, to get their feathers ruffled because they are kept out of the loop.  Of course, the FBI can involve them if they please but they usually think they are so far above the local law enforcement officers, they will only give them grunt work to do.   So, it doesn’t surprise me not to see Bo working on it.

a rogue cop, and to my knowledge nothing ever stopped him before from sticking his nose where it didn’t belong.  No, to me it’s all about him being so consumed by his own dilemma that he hasn’t cared enough about Sami’s.  Shame on you, Bo.
