First, the question: How did Dr Baker and sleep-walking Hope ever get together in the first place?
Now, the comments:
1-Bad editing…I know we’ve talked about this before and I really should let it go, but….For several days Kate was wearing the same clothing she wore the day of Alice’s funeral, but yet, other scenes (in the same episode) were of a new day and/or characters referring to the funeral as if it happened ages ago. Doesn’t anyone in production pay attention when they’re stringing the scenes together into one episode? Another example, Daniel leaves Chloe in bed the day she comes home from the hospital, gets take-out for dinner, but it’s daytime elsewhere in Salem?
2-Did anyone else catch Kate’s comment to Carly about Chloe ruining both her (Kate’s) sons’ lives? Last I checked, she has two sons besides Lucas and Philip – ie, Austin and Rex (although I’d be willing to forget about Rex). Shouldn’t the actors actually catch these things?
Don’t know what to say about the editing except there is no consistency on Days.
As far as Kate’s comment I just took it to mean Chloe ruined 2 of her son’s lives but you’re right, she should have said it that way not to make it sound like she only had 2 sons.
it’s "Day’s" – it is most times, a suspension of reality…I think that we should all pay attention to the DOOL bloopers like you pointed out DP and Deelan for a month…then list them and send them to the writer’s! At least they’d know we are paying attention!
but quite often I have trouble trying to decide if it day or night on ‘Days’. Their picnic looked like daylight, but they called it night.
About the clothing, some seem to wear the same thing , while others change constantly.
I think Kate has done more to ruin her kids lives than anyone else. In spite of all her own meddling, she has a lot of nerve to constantly talk badly about Chloe especially to Carly. After all, Philip seemed to have had no problem falling right into extra marital sex with Chloe and no one was forcing him.
Yes, it is filled with inconsistencies, but I still love ‘Days’, warts and all.

Correct about Kate. Even though Belle and Shawn weren’t married she did everything to push Belle to Phillip after Belle and Phillip got divorced. Even before Belle and Phillip got married she did everything in her power to keep Shawn away, that’s one of the reasons he drove his bike through the church window. Then when Billie wanted Bo she had no problem setting them up on Bo and Hope’s wedding day to make it look like Bo and Billie were together. She did the same to Sami and Brandon before Sami and Lucas’s wedding.
She’s a good one for breaking up or trying to break up relationships whether she’s involved in the relationship or not.
When Bo was saying good bye to Ciera on the front steps it was obviously night and then they cut to the teens at the beach and it was very much daylight–I think they were still eating ice cream. The editing is definitely not award winning.
Maybe everyboy in Salem has their own time zone or a different time zone for different locations. It’s Eastern Time at Bo’s and Pacific Time at the beach. The pub and the hospital change time zones depending on who’s there at the time.
because Sami said they played "flashlight" tag…I just figured that the lighting in the scene for taping was why the "night" looked so weird…or maybe they were just trying to highlight " EJ’s pecs in the "moon light"?!!?
was during the day. Sami’s picnic was suppose to be at night–they even mentioned fireworks. I just wish we as an audience wouldn’t have to figure out time of day on our own. I hated JER when he was head writer, but I always knew what time of day it was–Night. He never did a daytime scene, I guess that has confused everyone now since we have to have daytime and night time.
it doesn’t get dark until almost 9 PM right now. So it would be plausible that it was still daylight during an evening picnic.
They were first shown in the poker game together. They met there, he lost money to her and she suggested how he make more (by mugging EJ). That’s what I remember, anyway.

That’s a little hard for me to accept. I don’t believe I have EVER seen anyone wearing high heels on the beach. How in the world would you walk in the sand?
Boy, that woman sure has a killer body. Too bad her face isn’t more attractive…she’d be a real knock-out.
