on the steps listening to Kristen’s entire conversation with Stefano about how her plan is going and how Marlena and John are going to get what they’ve always deserved. His facial expression even makes it look like he heard the whole mess and then he walks in and….nothing! And later, Kristin tells Stefano she saw Brady in the mirror the whole time…what mirror! The mirrors I see are not in position to reflect where Brady was standing. And if she did see him, she didn’t stop with what she was saying to Stefano. Did I read this whole thing wrong?!
I’m with you! How did he not hear the whole first part of that conversation? Plus the mirror is facing Kristen and Stefano, there’s no way she could’ve seen Brady in that mirror unless we are to believe there was a mirror on the "fourth wall" in front of them that was situated in such a way as to give her an angle out the door and around a corner by the stairs. Lame.
…they show Kristen laying on Stefano’s shoulder whispering, which I could totally see Brady not hearing. But today, the show started with him clearly hearing what she said. Why edit it that way if he didn’t hear it? It doesn’t make sense. I keep thinking Brady knows. He’s heard too much to be SO dumb. Months ago there was a spoiler I read that said Brady and Marlena work together to bring down Kristen. I think I heard that before Brady and Kristen even got together, but I keep hoping it will happen.
I’m getting the impression Kristen is going to tell John that if he wants her to leave Brady alone, John needs to be with her.
that Brady doesn’t come down until after she talks about John and Marlena so he only heard the part about him. I guess we are to assume there is another mirror somewhere that she saw him.
What I thought was strange was he was in bed asleep, gets up and goes downstairs with Kristin and then the next scene he is all dressed and out in the square with John. What? And how long is this night going to last? According to events, it must be past midnight yet Sonny is still working and so is Gabi.
he even backed up and refrained from entering the room UNTIL she changed the conversation to him. If the writers decide to go with he did not hear, I would have to think they totally screwed up. I watched it twice, and he most certainly did hear the part of her conversation about John. What she did say that could be misinterpreted by the stupid dufus Brady is when she saw him she quickly said but she needs Brady and quickly turned it into a I need Brady in my life because I love him and need you to support me, yadda yadda yadda. But did he hear the first reference about John and her revenge, absolutely yes, he did. Maybe they will finally turn the light bulb on over his jello brain.
as he was coming down the stairs he heard them talking and backed up not wanting to eavesdrop. Then, hearing his name, he stepped forward to listen and I think that’s when Kristin realized he was there and changed the direction of her conversation for his benefit. But I guess some could have interpreted it differently.
I can’t believe I’m defending the writers.
and you will see that the camera stays on Brady for a few seconds after he backs up, and continues listening, which tells me he heard everything said about John, plus hearing her say she needs Brady to get to John. I’m sure of it. Anything shown next week, if they do a flashback, would more than likely be a re-written edit by the writers after seeing it for themselves.
Brady was standing on the stairs so that Kristen could not see him directly, but there is a mirror in the foyer that reflected the stairs and Brady’s image. That’s how she knew he was on the stairs. The mirror is to the left of the front door.
