So, John was charged a day or two ago and the hotels are already filled to capacity because of the trail. I’m no legal expert, but it seems like it would be months before the trial would actually start. Da plot overrules real life yet again!
about his hotel room a couple of days ago, there’s no room at any other inn? Green Mountain Lodge? Surely Salem has other hotels, or Motel 6? Bates Motel? You had to stay at Sami’s????
let’s not forget his mother (Katie)’s mansion…he could have stayed there. lol you gotta love the DOOL writers. lol
Rafe actually suggested that yesterday and Austin was all "I am NOT going to stay in the house with Stefano Dimera!" Well then he should have stayed with Roman or in Maggie’s empty house or at that cottage the Dimera’s have or even the freakin Horton Cabin before he stayed with Sami who essentially raped him. How insane.
He lived with Sami the last time he was in Salem. When he was starting up that company and Sami and Nicole worked for him they all lived together in Sami’s little apartment.
I just love how those apartments have a living room/kitchen in one with no dining room, just a counter yet there are so many bedrooms. When Sami invited Dario to stay with them didn’t they say they didn’t have an extra room so he had to sleep on the couch but now they have a guestroom. That would be 1 room for Sami and Rafe, 1 room for Will, I’m thinking Allie and Sydney probably share a room but is Johnny in there with them or does he have his own. That would be 3 or 4 rooms right there PLUS there’s now a guest room. That little bitty apartment has 4 or 5 bedrooms. That’s more than some 2000 sq.ft houses have.
lol There’s no way that Sami’s place was his ONLY option! smh He could have stayed upstairs at the Brady Pub (like others have in the past), for cryin’ out loud! lol
He can’t stay at the pub, I think Sami said that grandma is having them renovated or something or other.
Oh…lol Well I’m sure there are some SHELTERS that Austin could have gone to. j/k But seriously, did the writers really have to make Sami’s place his ONLY option?! {Where’s the creativity at, writers?}

But I’m surprised nobody has mentioned John and Marlena’s place. We know it has extra bedrooms and John would probably be happy with the company. Austin is, after all, his step-son-in-law.
There are just too many possibilities for places for him to stay to make this idea tolerable. Please, new writers, don’t try to feed us that same ol’ crap again.
Sami said she was going to get the guest room ready for him and Austin said he’d just sleep on the couch. I remember clearly because when she said guest room I had to listen to it again to be sure I heard right.
Austin is involved in his prosecution. But, that said, what about Roman’s couch (he must have one too and R is his father-in-law) or Katiepoo (the D mansion has to have atleast one unused bedroom!), Alice’s house use to have enough rooms for the people she was always taking in not to mention she and Tom had 4 kids at one point. Even with Jenn and Abby living there, there should be extra room. Speaking of that where does Jack live?? Maggie is living with Victor so her house is also available as only Melanie lives there now. Oh, maybe Salem only has one hotel – the Salem Inn? lol

John’s restricted to house arrest, Austin probably has to take lots of phone calls, would have a mountain of documents and evidence incriminating to John, and it would most likely be extremely uncomfortable for all of them to be living together under those circumstances. Any of the other suggestions listed below, however, would be fine except for Roman, since he’s Carrie’s dad and that would probably lead to distancing them even further than they already are. Alice’s would be my thought, and certainly Jennifer would have extra rooms and would more than likely be the most understanding person regarding Austin’s position. But, no, they have to make it look like Sami is his only choice, all leading the fans to believe that they will fall back into some disgusting triangle/rectangle …. some sort of tangled mess. DON’T DO IT, PLEASE! I thought KC stated we would be done with this sort of thing. Did you lie to us….again….Mr. Corday?
Austin said he’d just stay on the couch, I knew right then that something was going to happen. Austin said he’d be better off there so that he wouldn’t disturb everyone when he got ready to go to work in the AM. I’m thinking…WTF…being in the general family area iw where you WOULD disturb the family! Of course, the writers have to be sure the plot drives the story…what else is new!?
if they even reminded themselves that there are three small children living in that apartment as well. Anyone of them could have followed Sami out into the living room and saw Austin in the buff. That would have been ludicrous.
