Did I miss something or did this come suddenly out of nowhere? Although what she can get from Xander seems to be nada.
BTW her hair looked stunning. Wonder if she’s growing it out as this is longest it’s been in some time.but that lawsuit was definitely out of the blue. Plus, who gets a court trial, or even a hearing, the same day the suit is filed and served on the defendant(s)? No one, that’s who!
I thought the dress was just a wee bit tight.
Yeah, I wish they would have explained how she got that filed, served and heard all in one day. Also, she goofed as a process server. You are supposed to ask the person if they are who they are the person listed on the subpoena and when they confirm, THEN you hand them the subpoena and tell them, “You have been served.”
I once did that for small claims court cases way back when we were young and poor ($25 a pop was pretty good money) to pick up a few bucks because I could do it even though I had two small kidlets. It was okay to leave them alone in the car then…with the doors unlocked and the windows open. And nobody ever took them…darn! :o)
Especially since Xander asked about getting such late notice and Nicole said that he should have gotten served earlier to which Brady responded it could be the guards at the gate, they are told to turn away anything regarding lawsuits or something like that. But no such explanation regarding Serena’s not getting her notice. the thing about the guards at the gate made me laugh tho since so many people just get to walk right up and knock on the door unannounced.
Stefano is supposed to have guards or gates or both and look how Ben is able to come so easily in the yard to spy on them & maybe even overhear things!!! Also, it seems people are always going to that front door, too!
the whole lawsuit thing was a lead-in to getting money for Nicole so she could start her own business. The new business could lead to Nicole and Daniel moving out of town. Seems like the whole thing was a possible setup to their leaving the show. I don’t know anything–just speculating.
his reasons for possibly leaving? I’m assuming it is his choice? And has Az spoken about this as well or are viewers just speculating she would naturally go with him?
for these quick-decision, makes-no-sense scenes we are watching lately is due to the fact that the cross-over from the old (TomSell) to the new (Higgriff) writers had to be swiftly dissolved, wiping out in a week or so the scenes and dialogue written by TomSell; therefore, some of the scenes now being shown as the "new" writers material may not make much sense to the fans or the general audience, but it will be quickly forgotten when by the end of this week the new writers sls explode on our screens and beloved vets, their sorased kids, a serial killer on the loose, and the 50th anniverary sls begin. I just wonder how many more exits we will see along with those returning. Who will surprise us when they are either killed off or simply leave Salem for good? I’m anxious to find out and Danial Jonas and Nicole Walker may be part of those exits. JMO though. They may still decide to make Nicole and Eric Brady the end game, but personally I’m not liking Nicole a whole lot lately. Maybe she and Daniel will just decide to ride off into the sunset or perhaps Dan is a victim of the serial killer and Nicole simply leaves Salem for good. Not a popular scenario, I realize, but I just don’t think Nicole was ever meant to find a HEA with anyone.

I don’t see how they could possibly put Nicole with anybody else after she has been so oooey-gooey over Daniel lately and loves him so much and more than life itself. Will she just forget about that? Almost as bad as how quickly Dan got over Jenn that he was so madly, desperately in love with and now he can’t live without Nicole and even wants to marry her. Geese these people sure are fickle.
were not hard core criminals like you see on Dog, the Bounty Hunter. They were for small-claims court and usually for someone who hadn’t paid their bill. At that time the max was $500 so there were typically just normal people who, for some reason, had a dispute and didn’t think they should pay.
Lord, no, my husband would have never let me do it if he thought there was the slightest bit of danger to me. Sometimes I’d carry a gift-wrapped box with the subpoena in a colored envelope that looked like a gift card with me to make the person think I was bringing them something…very effective. They’d say, “Yes, I’m so-and-so” right away.
My God, can any body sneer as evilly as Xander does? I hate him just from looking at him. What a creep. I don’t know how Theresa could have kissed that ugly mug. But then, she’s not exactly a sweetheart either. Come to think of it, they’d make a good pair. Evil and Eviler. :o)
Daniel has a history of being fickle and quickly falling in and our of love!!
As for ooey gooey– Nicole has a long list of "true loves" including Eric, EJ, Daniel aong with no so true –Lucas and Victor. Actually she has been with most of the men of DOOL!!
THe Lawsuit idea does seem very quick and done of some sort of plot resolution, just don’t know if it is the beginning of goodbye!!
