Is it just me or is that being hinted at here?

I think that would be pretty cool pairing.

Would love to see an expanded role for Maxine and some romance!

but then I thought they were going to pair Abe Kayla at one time, but this time it looks like they are chem-testing Abe with Maxine. Maybe if she gets more involved with Abe, she’ll be less of a hospital staff buttinsky (although I do love when she butts heads with Anne and Theresa).

of her having a bigger role on the show, too. But isn’t she already married? Seems like she’s talked about her husband a few times.

I remember her talking about kids but not a husband. But, does that matter anyway? This is a soap. Who ever remains faithful on a soap anyway? LOL, can’t you just see it, Abe and Maxine in a torrid, illicit love affair? :o)

She is a real woman, cares for others, works for a living, I think she would be great for Abe AND Theo

I just don’t see them together.  Other than them being the only black people in Salem I don’t see them having much in common.  Maybe the fact that they are both single parents?  I don’t know.  I definitely did not want the Abe/Kayla pairing I want her and Patch back together.  I am keeping my mind open to Abe and Maxine but so far I don’t see it.

They could be the most stable super couple in Salem.  I like how we have known and loved both characters for a long time.  No obvious set up such as Rafe and Jotdan etc.
