I HATED the way Vic and Maggie ended today.  They just got going good and these dumbass writers are already causing a rift between them.  Can’t they let ANYONE be happy???  Man, I wish I had one of those styrofoam bricks to throw at the TV!

and although some may believe Chloe may be worth it, I definitely DO NOT.  Look how appreciative she is.  Maggie should not even begin to compare herself to Chloe’s situation.  She mentioned Alice being her salvation when she hit rock bottom.  At least she didn’t bite the hand that fed her, like Chloe is doing with Maggie’s kindness.  Chloe instead repeats her mistakes over and over again.  I’m sick of her, and for the life of me I do not understand how the writers could have her and Victor be so stubborn as to let it come between them is just maddening to me, especially when I’m sure they (TPTB) are well aware of the fanbase Magic has.  I think they’re nuts to go this way, especially when I know what Chloe’s going to do next.  Wake up, Maggie.  Victor is not as wrong as you are seeing him to be.  Chloe is self-destructive, and she will destroy the only relationship you have allowed yourself to be in since Mickey’s death.  Why should Maggie and Victor have to suffer for this dysfunctional woman?  I so wanted Abbey to take her head off today, and I’m not even crazy about Dan and Jen yet, and was glad they didn’t stand there and take her bullcrap.

I have mixed emotions.  I do think Chloe is being a moron no doubt, but Maggie is just trying to help her see her own potential and I can’t blame her for that.  Victor has his own agenda and he should not try to impose that on Maggie.  I like that Maggie stands up fo herself and her beliefs.

is that at least it is just a squabble and not a love triangle or some other usual DOOL nonsense. I think they will work it out.

two very strong personalities and they were bound to clash sooner or later.  Each one feels they are right and are not willing to bend, to spite their noses.  But I love, love, love, the way Maggie stands her ground with him.  I think in the long run, Victor is the one to blame because he was the first to offer Mags the ultimatum that it was him or Chloe.  Then the next day, he has the nerve to tell Mags he doesn’t like ultimatums.  Pot, black much?

Patti, it’s a shame you don’t think Chloe is worthy of someone standing up for her and trying to help her out.  I don’t think anybody is so bad that they’re not worthy of a helping hand.  I don’t know what she’s going to do next but no matter what it is, I don’t think it would be a reason for Maggie to abandon her.  She sponsored both Lucas and Brady and that’s exactly what a sponsor does, you hate the sin, not the sinner.

But you have an excellent point about Abby and Jen walking away from her.  I don’t understand why more people on this show don’t do that when someone is confronting and insulting them, i.e. Chloe with Kate, just the other day.  No, instead they just stand there and offer feeble excuses to rebut the accusations.  I’d say something to the effect that I’m not going to waste my time on a lunatic and walk away.  That said though, I thought it was totally unfounded for Chloe to go off on Jen that way.

Chloe will retain the same MO by hooking up with these guys she doesn’t know. I find it so hard to buy that this woman is actually a mother. It’s all about self with Chloe. And until she climbs out of that woe is me rock she’s under there’s little hope for her.

These writers are pathetic. They can’t even let the relationship warm up and they have to turn the cold water on it. Hate it! As for Chloe, I hate that this character has been relegated to being the town drunk/slut. Another bad writing decision. I feel very sorry Nadia Bjorlin to have to portray this character. I used to love listening to her sing and I miss the days when she was a liked character instead of this stereotypical one.

It’s not just Maggie, but a number of people tried to help Chloe, including Philip and Daniel.  She refused to accept the help that was offered, including therapy, which would have been her best bet.  I agree, the writers have ruined her character.  Hell, she even chooses Nicole as her one and only friend …. the same woman who tried to disfigure her …. and has now become her drinking buddy.  Maggie holding on to her strong convictions and not letting Victor tell her what to do is fine; but, she certainly has to see why Victor is so hateful toward Chloe as well.  He may go overboard about voicing his feelings toward Chloe, but he truly believes she ruined the men in his family, and he’s not entirely wrong about that.  And for Maggie to say that Lucas chose to drink again without putting Chloe up front and center in that decision is preposterous.  This show has enough "heavy" drinkers in it, male and female, without turning Chloe Lane into an alcoholic nymphomanic, with absolutely no desire to take help when it’s offered.  And when you say, "hate the sin, not the sinner," I have to respectfully disagree.  The "sin" will always be the temptress; but the "sinner" will always have the choice.
