I, for one, would miss Brandon/Stefan. Love him & Gabi (they ain’t EJ/SAMI but they are about as good as we can get with a deliciously fun couple.)
And I agree – the whole Rofl thing is zzzz….
I also think Stefan is back back… Brandon’s social media was pretty much saying just that earlier this week.
Days will do the time jump and then go forward from there? Will they fill in the “past” with flashbacks? Yes, that would help solve the far ahead shooting.
I can’t imagine jumping ahead even a year, without filling in the gaps for us with some flashback or even dialog that lets us know what happened.
Rolf did something to bring her out of coma or was it brain dead. They all freaked out when she woke up. I am guessing there will be tons of tests in Kate’s future.
So if time is of the essense….how much longer does Julie have without Stefan’s heart?
.. yet they rolled her into the hall with just an IV drip? I’ve never worked in a hospital, but I would have thought they would have had her hooked up to something else before she went to the surgical suite. I could see Lauren’s eyes moving though she was closed and she was breathing too. Thought Lucas or Will was going to notice that rather than her suddenly waking up all the way.
How cool is it that everyone who is dying or dies in Salem is automatically a donor match for whomever is in Salem U Hospital needing a transplant? Daniel/Brady now Kate/Julie.
and you’re right, she’d have been on a portable ventilator or they would have been bagging her. Dr. Rolf must have improved whatever it is he did to Kate because she didn’t seem to have lost her memory like the rest.
I asked the same thing to myself. I thought she couldn’t breathe on her own. Wouldn’t they want to provide her organs with oxygen as long as possible? I guess she could have all that stuff in her mouth in order to say those lines, but she could have just opened her eyes and grabbed a hand. That would have been just as effective.
She was in a coma. Her heart was still beating on it’s own and they did no tests to suggest brain death which would have had to have been done to take donate her organs. Just because she couldn’t breath on her own means nothing. Heck, they don’t take people off the ventilator and extubate them, they leave the tube in and there’s a setting on the ventilator that has them initiate breaths but they usually turn the rate on the machine down which means the machine is doing less work and the patient needs to initiate breaths on their own. THAT’s how they wean someone off a ventilator
