I don’t understand why, when we see Melanie "dying" of the poisoned comb that Carly, a supposedly brilliant doctor, can do nothing but tell her to "breathe, breathe." Shouldn’t she me giving her mouth-to-mouth or something? Stupid!
is so dysfunctional, nothing she does or says surprises me. These writers have ruined her before she even got the chance to be welcomed back into the flock. I despise the way they are writing Carly Manning. It needs to stop before I start wishing CC never returned, and as much as I do love the actress, it’s as if she is belittling herself right now, IMO.
But keep in mind this is Viv’s dream, this is what she wants Carly to do. Not what Carly would do. She thinks it would be sweet victory if her daughter died in her arms.
She wants Carly to look helpless, not know what to do.
It’s Viv’s dream, she’s not going to imagine Carly trying to save Melanie she’s going to imagine her boo-hooing and desperate.
