Oh jeez. Stop with the scenery chewing already. Must she suck the oxygen out of every room? She gets on my last nerve.
she reminds me a bit of Sami with the dramatics, if she’d just take it down a notch or two she would be great I think
But I’ve noticed that a lot of actresses, from back in the day, over act. Watch old episodes of other soaps, or even the Twilight Zone, and you’ll see the actresses over emote. I don’t think she’s adapted her acting skills. Nothing she does seems like it’s real. It really does seem fake. Even her reaction when she found out David died, was just awful. Not even a real tear in her eye.
from almost the beginning I guess I’m just well used to SSH’s style. She does make me laugh and roll my eyes but at least she’s not a boring laconic Joey.
I watched when I was a little kid in the 60s. That was her style then and her style still to this day.
To be honest, she did just lose her son, so one can not expect her to act "normal". that said, she already has a grandson she never sees, and she had no realtionship with her son so I don’t get this "woe is me" stuff!!
She excited to have a grandson and doesn’t assocaite with the one she’s know about forever!! She was always too busy going on cruises!!
