That was really cool!  I liked how he ‘drew a line’ between himself and ‘evil’ Stephano!!  Rock on, Sir Joe!!

He sounds like such a gentle man.  I remember reading years ago how there is a street named for him somewhere in GA because of all the work he has done to support a children’s hospital in the area.  It also said something about after his first wife died he would play clarinet (I think that was the instrument) for his dog.  I’d love to meet the man!

He played clarinet with the NY Metropolitan Opera for two years.  I supposed that’s why they’ve made Stefano a classical music afficianado.

He’s also an avid tennis player.  That’s probably what keeps him so young and fit.

between Joe M. and Stefano.  What a classy gentleman, and from what I have read in many many articles on Joe, the cast and crew adore him.  He certainly takes care of himself, but I have to believe he also has good genes.  He is a marvelous specimen for someone his age, and moves like a man half his age in all of his scenes.

About two years ago, his parents made the newspapers in Connecticut for celebrating their 80th wedding anniversary!!  His parents then were 97 (mother) and 106 (father).  Pretty impressive!!

I just saw him in Jaws 2 the other day.  Long time ago but he was good.
