And calling the shots, like when to end interviews?

I thought that there was a "camera person’s union" – see what wikipedia says below –

thank you. I guess technically Arianna could be calling "cut" but I wasn’t aware she’d be the camera person too…

shows on Wika – a PA would be a jack of all trades so to speak – but does anyone "get" coffee anymore?  I’d draw the line at that especially for Nicole – I’d be tempted to poison her!

This is copied from the transcript.  Arianna is talking to EJ.

Arianna: No. [Stammers] Let me explain, please. I was supposed to be working for a woman named cece.

If Arianna was to have been working FOR CeCe, wouldn’t she be working FOR Nicole?

Looks like Arianna is planning to sabotage Nicole’s work.  JMHO

he may help help her and back her up because he sure hates Nicole!  And I say good for Arianna if she does sabotage Nicole.

is like an entry level position, a glorified gofer, and yes, they would get coffee and do anything else the reporter requires.  Their job is to take care of anything that needs to be done.  And, no, she definitely would NOT be running the camera.  This link has a good description.

Plus, it’s not like she’s a PA on a TV show, she’s just starting on on a local news program, the lowliest of the low.  It doesn’t pay very well either.

When I was interviewed for the news for the pillow thingie, there was only the reporter and camerman (no PA) and the entire interview was determined by the reporter, where we stood, camera angles, etc.  But then remember…this is DOOL!

On another note, Nicole seems to be doing a very good job for not having any experience.  She appears to be the real thing.

the only thing that DOES matter is WHO hired them.  Remember, they both work for Titan; Ariana was hired by Brady and Nicole was hired by Phillip, and ALL of them report directly to the only one, and I do mean only one, who calls the shots….and that’s Victor Kiriakis.  So, regardless of who should do what, when, how, where or to whom, both of these women could care less.  They are both bold because they know who their respective employers are, but when it comes right down to it, Victor can kick them ALL to the curb if and whenever he wants.  Personally, I’ve decided to stick with the fact that it’s a soap opera and stop driving myself crazy with issues relating to real life scenarios.  Believe me, it helps to ignore the IRL facts and concentrate on the stories, which I believe are getting pretty darn good.
