You would think that this crazy girl would learn and quit repeating the same mistakes.  How many times has she lost a relationship because she has kept secrets?  How many times does she have to be screwed by EJ (no pun intended) to learn not to trust him?  It was excruciating to watch her allow EJ to destroy her relationship with Lucas.  He kept telling her to trust him to take care of things, but she had to do it her (EJ’s) way.  He kept begging her not to trust EJ.  Now we are seeing a replay of it with Rafe.  He kept her safe from the (Dimera’s) hit man, HE’S the one who found the truth about Sydney, and if there’s anyone who can find Sydney, it RAFE.  She needs to trust him and stop asking EJ whether she should tell him or not.  Why can’t she stop being such a stupid (don’t tell my kids I said that word) TWIT!  Aaaargh!!!  I don’t know why I like her!  Must be Ali.

I’m ready to see the whole lot of them go (all except for Rafe, that is); Sami is so ridiculous right now, she makes my teeth hurt.

If Sami had let Rafe in on everything, he’d have found Sydney by now………………get a clue, Sami!

I thought I needed to get inside the TV and slab her the day she asked EJ what he would do? HUH? We already knew what he would do, he wants to keep things secret. And she is so stupid that the one person she has no reason to trust is the person she is putting her trust in. Sami continues to ruin every one of her relationships by making stupid moves. The girl is self-sabotaging! It just kills me to watch her defending and agreeing with EJ, the rapist. What has he ever done to really redeem himself? Nothing! Rafe is her best bet, he has nothing to personally gain from finding Sydney, he just wants Sami to be happy, and yet she doesn’t trust him. This is some awful writing and just beyond belief!

but yesterday’s show was preempted here in Maryland for about 20 minutes for a report from the President on the Haiti earthquake, and when regular broadcasting had returned, I figured I had missed some discussions between E.J. and Anna about Sami being kept in the dark, and I was right.  When I watched the show that evening on Soapnet, E.J. was telling Anna how his plan was not only to take revenge on Samantha, but also on Stefano AND Nicole as well, so it turns out that Sami’s trust in E.J. leaves more that something to be desired.  She is radical and over-the-top, but she is not stupid.  She knows Rafe has been protecting her and that he has been right on-spot so far, from Stefano and Nicole, right down to E.J. DiMera, and yet she continues with this false trust, to put it mildly, in E.J. simply because why…..because he’s been so truthful with her in the past???  I really have liked the way the writers have been writing Ali lately, but if they insist on returning her to a pathetic, over-reacting screaming idiot, then shame on them.  You can redeem the most horrible of characters and everyone will love them when they first hated them, but this flip-flop they do with Sami Brady is just too much to bear.  If they insist on writing her this way, then I hope Rafe leaves her when he finds out the truth.  He has loved and protected her and had her best interests at heart practically from the start, so for Sami to side with E.J. and hide the truth from Rafe just burns me to my soul.  In the meantime, Sydney will undoubtedly grow to need some serious therapy from all of this bullshi* this poor child has had to endure.  They also showed her walking across her playpen into James’ arms yesterday.  She took about 3 or 4 steps.  It was so cute.  They must be using the other twin though, because this one doesn’t seem to smile as much and I have noticed several times that she has teary eyes and does not react as well to the other actors.

There has been this big hullabloo about Sami not telling Rafe about the ransome note because it said not to contact the police…YET…Rafe the Salem PD, and the FBI have been investigating all along, so what difference would it make?  DUH!

"She is radical and over-the-top, but she is not stupid."  True, she is certainly over the top, but she also acts plain stupid sometimes.  She just does not seem to be able to see what is in her best interest.  It is as if Sami is self destructive a lot of the time and can’t stop herself from listening to EJ.  I wonder just how long Rafe will continue to put up with her siding with EJ.  Such a tangle of lies!!

But in the end I think Rafe will discover the truth and Sami will feel really bad.  I also think that it will seperate them a little, but in the end Rafe will understand and come back to Sami.  But it will be an interesting wedge and it will be REALLY interesting what happens when Sami gets the whole truth.

I think that Sami feels guilty about keeping Grace from EJ and then finding out that Sydney was her’s feels she owes him something. I am not sure if this is a conscious feeling or sub-conscious.

As for EJ, again he shows his trus colors. He wants what is his(Sydney) and also wants revenge(Stefano, Sami and Nicole). He doesn’t think that he has done anythinkg worng, even though he threw Sydney out in the first place. If he hadn’t, he would have never lost her!!!

Sami does have a perfectly good reason for not telling Rafe.  When he finally does find out, all she has to tell him is that the ransom note said not to tell anybody and she was fearful for Sydney’s life.  That would make perfect sense to me.  And that IS the reason she hasn’t told him, isn’t it?

I think that is why Rafe won’t flip out too much and leave Sami.

is this not the stuff from which soaps are made?  Of course she should have told Rafe – but then what would the writers have to work with?  Soaps are all about secrets, right?
