cancer scare was going on at the exact same time that my husband was having a liver biopsy and waiting for his results.  It took ten days for the doctor’s office to get back to us and when they did, they called at home and when I answered, the doctor’s rep said she could not give me the results.  She said she had my husband’s cell number and that she would call him there.  So I was living in real life what Sami was portraying on Days and believe me we were on pins and needles too.  Happily, we got the same results that Sami got…no cancer!  That was pretty weird to be watching that and living it at the same time.

I agree, Our little Sami is growing up and it seems that it is because of Rafe.. I do really think they are great together. I think they (TPTB) are trying to show her as growing up…and that is a good thing.

I realize she was extremely anxious and sometimes Sami just can’t help herself.  She probably didn’t have time to straighten out the desk because Rafe arrived and caught her under the desk, but she should have attempted to at least put the files back in a stacked pile like she found them.  This even before she hacked into Lexi’s computer.  Then, again, I thought it was mean of Lexi not to at least tell her not to worry when she called her and left the message to come into her office.  She made Sami more anxious by what she didn’t say rather than what she did.  I’m sorry, but I would rip a hangnail out with my teeth rather than let Lexi treat it.  LOL.

Same here.  I give permission to share information with my husband and to leave any results or message on my answering machine rather than me get the message after their office is closed and have to wait back.

I remember when I had a breast tumor removed and the hospital I was at couldn’t identify it.  They had to send it to Mayo Clinic and that took a week.  When the surgeon called the first words out of her mouth was "you can let out that breath now, the test was fine".

I can see not giving bad news over the phone or on a message but to say "everything’s fine" would be appreciated. But we all know Lexi has to be the drama queen with her facial expressions and that unspoken words.

I think you’re right Patti.  I think she has come a great distance in the last year or so. and am willing to forgive her occasional lapses as long as she progresses from there. And when she ends up a responsible gainfully employed businesswoman everyone will probably think she’s boring!

she DOESN’T look before she leaps; but, call me crazy, I still love her.

Whoops, belongs BELOW my comment.  Sorry, still delerious after Ravens kicked butt on the Steelers.  LOL.

out right and her physician would have to give it to her by law no If’s, and’s, or but’s…the character of Sami is a twit and will never grow up.  She could not ask to have her record?  Come on…same ol’ silly Sami.  She has been off my watchable list for a year now…fed up with her.

Sami didn’t care about getting a copy, she just didn’t want to wait for Lexie to find out the results.

asked a question, if her doctor (Lexie) didn’t get the answer for her, Sami could have requested lab results or diagnosis from another physician.

Lexie called to tell Sami the results were in and to meet her in an hour.  Sami couldn’t wait and went to the hospital to find the answer herself.  It’s another case of being like an immature child with the "I know what I want and I want it NOW" mentality.
