That when it comes out that Jen knew about Chloe sending Parker to Brazil and Chloe’s threats about Daniel never seeing Parker again, that Daniel isn’t so forgiving of Jen. IMO, her withholding that information is worse than anything she could have done to Daniel. Add to that public humiliation, which would also, IMO, be unforgiveable. She’s made him look like an idiot in one fell swoop.
Plus I can’t stand them together. Jennifer is an idiot! If nothing else, did she forget he’s related to Victor Kiriakis. If that bimbo Chloe had run off with Parker Victor would have been all over that in seconds!
I know it is not blood, but isn’t Daniel now Victor’s step-son since Maggie is his Mother? Victor loves Daniel like a son (most of the time) and he can’t stand Chloe, so as soon as Victor finds out (if he ever does) watch out Chloe!
He’s Maggie’s son, and that holds more water against Chloe. Not to mention, Parker is Maggie’s grandson. There is no way Chloe could get away with kidnapping Parker. Honestly, I don’t know what the writers were thinking. Chloe and Nancy are both scared of Victor. They pulled this crap without batting an eyelash!
for me it was the very last scene, when Daniel decided he needed to take a walk to get some air and suddenly there’s Jennifer, also out for a breath of fresh air, I assume, and they both stop, look at each other, AND DANIEL TURNS AND WALKS AWAY FROM HER. Yeah, that was it for me.
Chloe did not kidnap Parker. She has FULL custody. Orangeman’s name is NOT on the birth certificate. As it stands, legally he has no rights at the moment. Without his name on the birth certificate, he has no say at all.
Legally, Victor can do nothing. At this point Chloe has sole custody and daniel’sname is not on the birth certificate. If he interferd, he could be charge with interference of custody, go to jail and conceivably hurt daniel’s access to his son. He could only be granted supervised visits.
How ever, that legal document has to state he is the father. He would have to go to court. Until he did he has no rights in the eyes of the law. Anyone can claim paternity, but until it is recognized legally, there are not many options
But there are a couple of paternity tests that state Daniel is the daddy. Second of all, if you or your mother take a child out of the country with the sole intention of keeping that child from his father, that’s kidnapping! Biological parents have done that before and we’ve all seen it in the news.
Since when has Victor worried about what is legal?
I feel that Jenn was dumb and stupid. She had multiple conversations with Chloe that could have been recorded on any smartphone. Then she could go to Daniel, play them and let the cards fall.
Daniel coujld have contacted Justin, get the needed documentation and blasted Chloe.
Jenn should have NEVER cause a scene at the hospital. To me, that would be the last straw for Daniel!!!
