I have to say, she was stellar in her part today.  When Roman told her Paige had been murdered, her reaction made my heart stop a second.  And after that, I could really feel her pain.  Excellent acting, excellent.  I know that is a really meaty scene for an actor to play but I think she took it way beyond.  I’d go so far as to say Emmy worthy.

But now, is she turning to Justin to lean on?  I hope not.  First Justin turns into this obnoxious DA and then starts canoodling with Eve?  Sorry but I think I am going to unswallow over this.

hooking up characters a definite possibility. I agree K’s acting wonderful yesterday. Now, even with the spotlight on Chad will she still try and blame JJ? And will her rage know no bounds now and it’s all in on lashing out at JJ and Jenn?

and can play any role, and yesterday she proved it.  I don’t care how much people hate the character of Eve Larson, Kassie made her vulnerable, shameful, guilt ridden, grief stricken, and every other emotion I can think of in her scenes yesterday.  I knew she would.  She’s just that good at what she does.

And with all of the crap going on with cops in the country IRL, the scene between Eve and Roman made me think how incredibly hard it would be to have to tell someone their loved one had died, much less been murdered.  Their job is not an easy one.

good gracious, this woman can act!!!  It really hit me when she admitted her affair with JJ to Marlena, hating herself, but realizing that no matter how many good times she tries to remember, the fact will stay in her mind forerver that when her baby girl died, she died hating her mother.  Gosh, gave me chills!

She was all wet under her eyes and stuff was even getting ready to drip from her nose.  I like the fact that she isn’t afraid to be without makeup.  Ali Sweeney was like that too.  And both of them look good without it.

I’ve always wondered why soaps (and other TV shows) don’t have a box of tissues handy when there is a crying scene.  When a person cries, the excess tears drip from the nose and a tissue or handkerchief would sure be nice to have nearby.

Probably depends on the venue. You’re not likfey to have a box of tissues on the table at Horton Town Square. it does add to realism.

I always carry tissues in my purse.  In olden days, when I was a lot younger, girls and women always had a handkerchief with them, either in a pocket or tucked into a belt or sleeve.  I’m all for realism, but actresses look uncomfortable when tears start running out of their noses.  There are probably some viewers who don’t realize that it’s tears and not something else.  Then the actress is left wiping her nose with her hand, fingers or sleeve.

I hate to see anything running out of someone’s nose. And you’re right about women carrying one. Men too. My husband to this day wouldn’t think of going out of the house without one in his pocket. Maybe it’s just habit but it’s a good one. I’m with you, I ALWAYS have tissues in my purse. Where it really came in handy was in China where the restrooms rarely had any toilet paper. :o)

I truly felt her anguish with that rage. It could have been so OTT to be fakey but perfectly done. Bravo to Kassie!

was once again stellar acting on Kassie’s part.  I may not be able to ever care about Eve, and her heart is probably smaller than the Grinch’s; but the woman did love her daughter.  On the other hand, I have to ask myself how could she have loved Paige and do what she did to her.  If she would have simply been successful in breaking apart JJ and Paige, that would have allowed me to give her some slack, but when she took him to bed only to please herself, several times by the way, then she was scum to me.  In any event, Kassie DePaiva is one marvelous actor.  I will miss her acting when she leaves, but not her character.
