I find it a little strange that Hope isn’t wearing any make-up in prison but she’s wearing fingernail polish.  AFAIK, make-up isn’t forbidden in prison.  Anyway some of those "lock-up" shows from the women’s prisons show them wearing it.

that she does that call for it, (jail or the hospital when she is ill).  Not many actresses would do that for their roles.  I think it’s more true to life.  Hope can certainly afford make up in jail, and you are correct, I don’t think it is banned once it goes through search of jailers.

I know from experience that make-up is NOT banned, but where I work, the fingernail polish IS labeled as contraband!!  They get high by inhaling it.  Funny how this prison is just the opposite, though it may be that her nails are done inside the prison walls at a salon of some type.

I know I wouldn’t want to wear makeup in prison!

I’m sure I couldn’t do the time so I won’t do the crime.

who looks just fine without make-up.  She has very classic features, is a natural beauty in every way, and too much make-up is never a good thing anyway.  That look they created with her when she was under the influence of the sleeping pills was horrid, IMO.

I have worked in the penal systen for 24 years (this Dec).  Trust me, I won’t be doing the crime, either!!  I sure don’t want to have to LIVE there!!!
