Days has several storylines that are just hanging there and have been ignored for a while.
1. What’s in the box found at the Horton house? Unless I missed something, the box hasn’t been mentioned since they found it.
2. The baby switch story has been replaced with the Holly drugging story at the DiMera household. Nicole seems to have moved on.
3. Sloan’s guilt pops up every once in a while but then it’s dropped.
4. Teresa and Constantine conspiracy to make Alex the long lost son rather than Xander. Teresa is dealing with Alex, Brady, and Tate over the drugs storylines and the heir deception hasn’t been mentioned in a while.I’d like to see these stories move along instead of this Constantine/Pawn nonsense. That story needs to end and Constantine needs to be sent packing.
They seem to be moving on the drug ring story and Everett story – I hope they keep moving. I have to wonder though, is Bobby involved with Clyde somehow?I have to agree. They just seemed to drop everything. I wonder if this has anything to do with the scab writers and moving into our regular writing team. It seems so odd that we rushed to start these stories and then just poof! They’re gone. I especially want this Konstantin and Teresa storyline to move. Why did they have Konstantin go from wooing Maggie and harassing Teresa to all of a sudden harassing Steve and John? It’s like they got bored writing one story so they moved on and wrote another one. It’s like that with every storyline you mentioned.
As for Everett, I’ve heard rumors that Everett might have DID, or possibly it’s like a Bourne Identity storyline. I hope he’s not involved with Clyde. And speaking of Clyde, is this not the most stupid storyline. He’s more powerful than the Dimeras and he basically is running a kingpin type drug ring (and an entire town) from a prison cell. What the hell? I hope they kill Clyde off soon. I’m so sick of him.
I’ve also seen the DID rumors about Everett. I’d like it to be something else since we went through DID with Abigail not that long ago. It would be the same condition just applied to a different character in different circumstance. Perhaps Everett is lying and is just an evil person. Marlena is supposed to hypnotize him soon so maybe we’ll find out what his problem is.
I agree, the Clyde storyline is ridiculous. Where are all the DiMera connections to take this guy out. I think Stefano or Victor would have taken him out by now. They both have family (Holly and Tate) impacted by the drug cartel.
What’s up with Harris going rogue by not keeping Rafe informed of what he knows?
I’m ready for the permanent writers to come back!
