This is not a spoiler just some sepculation and a theory from Days Talk. This has to do with Rafe’s obsession with the DiMera’s and him being the one to protect Sami and destroy EJ.

DeMira? I wouldn’t care if Rafe was Tony’s, or Stephano’s or who’s – how many does he have waiting in the wings…however, that being said, it would be hysterically funny if Sami married a Demira after all…but don’t let her find out until after the ceremony.
I can see every one in Salem (including all of us) saying "Oh, sh-t!!! Didn’t see THAT one coming!" Now that would be a twister of a SL !!! The writer’s wouldn’t hear me gritch for a year! Well, maybe a month.
I liked the theory that the DiMera’s were somehow involved in Emily’s death. That one I could swallow a lot easier than Rafe being a DiMera. I’d read an interview with Joe M. a while back and he makes jokes about Stefano’s many offspring that keep popping up. I guess Brian Ditallo wasn’t the only one that wanted Lucas to be Stefano’s as Joe thought that story had great potential.
about a drug cover-up and her sister blamed Rafe for the accident that killed her. Maybe Rafe was investigating the drug deals back then and they were connected to the Dimeras? I always thought that Ari was the connected to Emily’s death (just a theory) and maybe she was dealing with her boyfriend but they were the Dimera’s drugs? She wouldn’t have known who she was working for anymore than she did this time.
Rafe has a connection to the DiMeras, but I don’t want him to be one. I wondered how Stefano knew to get in touch with Emily’s sister, Meredith, to begin with. He seemed to know how to locate her to bring her to Salem in an attempt to get rid of Rafe. The more I think of it, the more I love the possibilities. Did the DiMeras kill Emily, or have her killed? Did Ariana know who the DiMeras were before she came to Salem? So many good ideas coming all at once to make this an exciting story-line. Please, Dena, JUST DO IT!
Rafe, Arianna, and Gabi’s mom had a relationship with Stefano, but that Stefano wasn’t their father. I don’t want Rafe to be a Dimera we already have Chad as a long-lost Dimera.
I just can’t get excited about anything involving Emily’s death. It holds no interest to me at all. And we don’t need any more people connected to the Dimeras.
so I wonder if she will be the one who runs down Ariana, who will be on her way to tell E.J. that Sami was the one who shot her when it happens. Is this going to be an ‘eye for an eye’ storyline? You killed my sister, so now I’m going to kill yours? Just a thought, haven’t seen anything relating to Ari’s death being anything more than an accident, but nothing in Salem isn’t already planned out, we all know that. Or, is it going to be Will who runs her down because he finds out that she is going to expose Sami? Sort of guessing it will be a planned hit, so I’m hoping it won’t be Will.
It’s the running down of Arianna, which I too agree sounds like a hit. Days Cafe even said when Ari vowed to find out who shot EJ she didn’t know she was signing her own death sentence. Anyway, if it is a planned hit, that makes me think it was someone else who shot EJ. That it was a professional hit or as someone mentioned, Anna, because I can’t believe Sami or Will would be capable of pre-meditated cold blooded murder. Sami shot EJ in a fit of rage and she didn’t plan it but to run someone down on purpose is not an accident.
Unless Chelsea is back in town.
how does Arianna find out that Sami shot EJ? And if it turns out that it was someone else that did it, they’d better have a pretty damned good explanation of why we see Sami pointing the gun at EJ and hearing the shot and then seeing EJ twitch. It’ll be very hard to convince me that it was someone else and Sami doesn’t have a clue.
(or not as they often do), by saying that Sami was so distraught and not in a conducive frame of mind to know what was going on around her (so not seeing the real shooter)…and she thought she shot EJ but really didn’t and……………..
For the life of me, I can’t explain the Arianna thingy yet unless it’s just a convenient way to write her off the show for someone to "off" her…she has been overly concerned about what’s going on in EJ’s life though – I mean I appreciated my attorney when he did my accident case but I didn’t know about his life or visit him in the hospital (if he was ever there I might send a card) but goodness it’s not like EJ and Arianna saw each other socially other than running into each other here or there at the pub.
I don’t think Ari will find out Sami was the shooter but is trying to find out who did it. That’s why I don’t think Sami has anything to do with her being run down.
If I remember when we saw Sami at the mansion it was shot with weird effects, sort of like a dream sequence or if she was on drugs. I’m holding out that to her it was like a dream and she was only seeing what she wanted to see until the gun shot snapped her out of it. Not knowing or being aware of anyone else being there or aware she fired the gun she figured the shot she heard had to come from her. I’m betting when they do find the gun they’ll find it hadn’t been fired as all the chambers will still be full and that will get her off the hook.
