Is it just me or did anyone else find it hilarious that just about anyone could walk right up to the Governer’s hotel room (and in it as Anna did!), without so much as a police officer guarding him?!  I didn’t realize that governer’s were to accessible.  I realize it’s a soap, but come on.

Anna’s blackmailing him was far too unbelievable in my opinion.  If they wanted to get Nicole out of jail I wish they would have come up with something like her narcing on someone or something, because I don’t like the whole pardon thing, I think it really cheapens the whole storyline.  Doesn’t Anna know by doing that that it’s going to be traced right back to her?  She might as well have let Nicole tell everyone the truth.  If Nicole knew her connection to the Governer, surely someone else will, too.  She can’t think that no one will find it suspicious that she got pardoned.

How was everyone getting his room number so easily?!  And just waltzing right up there.

Also, and I apologize to anyone who is a fan of the actor, but the man portraying the governor is one of the worst actors I’ve seen on Days!  It sounds like he’s reading straight from a script and he is just not believable as an authority figure.  Sorry!!

That is the guy who played Dr. Alan Quartermaine.

Alan Quartermain for so many years, I’m just used to his acting.  But, I did feel that he seemed a bit uncomfortable as Governor Ford; although, it just might have been me being used to him as his GH character.  I don’t think it was well written either, so that may have been part of it too.  He and Anna had no chemistry whatsoever!

largely because it was hilarious and quite unbelieveable.   I didn’t know the actor, but my husband walked through the room, stopped, watched for maybe thirty seconds and said, "That’s the guy from General Hospital!"
