I don’t know why Victor thinks he’s stuck with Ian as CEO.  It doesn’t matter what kind of contract he has, the board of directors is always capable of firing him.  No better justification than attacking the founder’s son.  (Although that was a pretty smooth move on Ian’s part.)

Not being able to fire him is just as stupid as Hope and John having to go to Alamania to get their divorce.  That’s absolutely preposturous.  To me, both of these things demonstrates a severe lack of imagination on the part of the writers.

I love all of the tension and problems and interruption of lives Ian will be bringing to our show.  Kate, in particular, deserves some stress in her life.  Who knows, we may even see the rise of "The Phoenix" in its truly splendiferous form where he will perhaps once again become one of Salem’s ferocious villains.  God knows, I’m a little sick and tired of watching JM play the sweet, kissy-face teddy bear nonno we’ve been watching for so long now.

You crack me up Patti. Although I have to admit I felt kinda bad for Stephano when that tear rolled down his cheek.

Guess  I just don’t like him but I think that is how they want it.   When Kate kissed him I cringed cause there is nothing sexy or loveable about him.  I guess if he was so likable he would not be the villan

I agree too that Victor our powerful Victor of the past should have kicked him out right then and there and say heck with contracts.

when he refused to leave, he’d have put a contract out on him and he’d really be gone – permanently!
