So glad to see Tony and Melissa win! He’s been on so long and finally got the trophy which obviously meant a lot to him. The final 3 were all good but I loved the dance T&M did – graceful and elegant in their free style. Congrats!
I am thrilled for Melissa and Tony. They have been great the whole time. Melissa has such a wonderful personality and Tony is a neat guy. They really did deserve to win. Finally, we won’t have to watch Val and Kelly carrying on like two love struck lovers. They made me sick. I’ve always liked Derek, but I just didn’t care for Shawn. That girl doesn’t know how to talk.
I found our this morning that Tony won! I am soooo happy for him! It’s about time and well deserved. I would love to see the moment his name was called. I’m sure they will show it over and over again tonight on the entertainment shows.
they deserved the win. They’ve been solid since day one. I had to laugh out loud at Tony’s delight. I think he was even more excited than Melissa. Congrats to all 3 finalists, though. They were all GREAT!
they had the 3 finalists on. He said something like it was his anniversary and something about Albania’s independence ? too. He also had his little girl on this morning and Melissa’s husband and daughter congratulated her via remote from Texas where they live. They had the 3 couples do a question and answer quiz on each other. Kelly and Val won that.
it actually brought tears to my eyes. There is no arguing that all three of them were super. Kelly probably messed up more than the other two though but was still very good.
I really thought Shawn would win but I think Melissa was a more graceful dancer where Shawn was more technical. I would have been happy with either one but just SOOOO happy for Tony. He deserved it. I couldn’t stop smiling.
Melissa’s and Tony’s name that I jumped off the bed! Hubby’s not interested in this show, so I always watch on our bedroom TV. I probably looked like an idiot with the huge smile I had on my face, but it was sooooo much fun watching their reactions when they called their name. Tom Bergeron said something like, "The other two have one, now you do too" right before he named them the winners. It just seemed the right thing to happen with how long Tony’s been on the show and how great Melissa danced…viewers and the judges got it right!!
