I really thought Margaret Cho or Michael Bolton should go, but I guess the majority of viewers thought different.  I really thought that David had a bigger fan based who would see him through for at least a few weeks.

real life scene when he was drunk off his a_ _ eating a hamburger off the floor in front of his daughter who was begging him to please quit drinking has kind of turned off his fan base who were left over from the beach lifeguard show and that talking car show(which I never watched either).  I don’t think he’s ever redeemded his reputation since then.

those turned off by DH would transfer that to this format. IMO David clearly should not have been first to go. Bolton was not good, not entertaining and apparently a diva.
But again, the judges were quite harsh to the Hoff, so maybe that influenced voters?

Do they only vote off one person each week?  Ive never watched this show before so I dont know how many they vote off. Thanks!

with 12 couples.  If I recall correctly, a couple of years ago they tried 16 couples, but that was way too many and I think they sent more than one home at some point in the season.  They’ve gone back to 12 and I think that works much better.

but I thought the votes would overcome the criticism.  He may have done some horrific things in the past, but he seems to have a very loving relationship with his daughters (gosh, they’re beautiful girls), and, although I don’t think it’s fair, that disgusting scene that the media so quickly jumped on, in my opinion, killed his chances.  Something like that follows you around for years and years, and most people think of it as soon as they see him.  I definitely do not think he should have been the first to go, even though he’s no Fred Astaire … but who is this early in the competition.  Margaret Cho, on the other hand, and a few others I can think of, should have gone before David.  But then, who knows, maybe Cho will come back next week and, taking the judges advice, leave the comedy for her club acts and concentrate on her dancing.  She has a wonderful partner in Louie, and I’d bet he was chewing nails having to give in to her demands for the comedic routine, which failed miserably.

No way in the world did I think he’d be the first to go.  And I’m surprised his fan base isn’t big enough to keep him there a couple of weeks at least.  I know that hamburger video was very harmful to him but from the ovation he always got on AGT, I thought people had gotten over it.  In fact, I didn’t think it was that bad.  Yeah, he was drunk and eating a sloppy burger (which he even acknowledged) but is that such a crime?  Not compared with what a lot of other "celebrities" are doing/have done.

If Cho doesn’t go (hey, I’m a poet) next, there is no justice.  I don’t know how she has any fans at all.  I don’t think she’s funny at all.  Her comedy routines are usually vulgar as opposed to funny and, as we’ve all seen, she certainly can’t dance so what does she have going for her?  And The Situation (why in the heck is he called that?) is such an arrogant a-hole I don’t know how he can have any fans at all.

first heard of Margaret Cho a number of years ago and did not enjoy her comedy routine.  I only watched her once and that was enough for me.  I didn’t even know she was still around!  The Situation and his cronies from "Jersey Shore" really do make me ill when I see them on any of the talk shows.  When Regis and Kelly had them on and when they were on Rachael Ray, I turnd them off.  At least we had the  satisfaction of Len and Bruno giving him a little dressing down that first night.  He did seem to be a little more humble Tuesday evening…but he’s got a long way to go in my book.

who will go from week to week; but, please let it be Michael Bolton.  Not only is he horrifying on the dance floor, he appears to exhibit a very condescending attitude …. along with The Situation, that is.  Wish we could get BOTH of them off this week.  Margaret Cho improved this week.  Glad to see she wasn’t too proud to pick up her own fumble from last week and run with it.  Much better.  Did I ever mention how much I adore Kurt Warner.  What a cuteie.  I don’t expect him to win, but he sure will be nice to look at from week to week.  Great smile.  The jive seemed to take the wind out of Jennifer Gray just a little, but she still managed to be the best again this week.  She’s amazing for what she’s been through.

Bergeron was stunned and even asked Bruno, "Do we have a three?!"  He didn’t even know they had a number three paddle.  Bolton was  not good at all and very arrogant with his partner in the practice video they showed.  I was very happy to see how much Margaret Cho improved.  What I didn’t like was the scores the judges gave to Bristol.  In my opinion, Margaret was better than Bristol; but, they scored Bristol higher.  Len gave her a totally undeserved 8 and I have to think he was playing to Sarah Palin, who was in the audience.  I hope that’s the only time Sarah is there because the camera kept panning to her and I thought that it just took away from Bristol herself and the other competitors…just my opinion.  I really like Kurt Warner too and the young guy, Kyle.  The Situtation can go home with Michael…as soon as possible!  Everyone else did quite well and it was fun to watch them.

watching and half-way sleeping.  (I’m just really having a hard time getting my energy back after the surgery.)   I recorded it so will have to watch again.  I did see Michael Bolton and all I can say for him is Bah!  I asked before but didn’t get an answer, why is that doofus called The Situation?  He’s a situation all right.  What a conceited little jerk.

You can hardly blame them for constantly showing Sarah Palin.  She is by far the biggest celebrity they’ve had on there to date.  I mean she WAS a candidate for VP…that’s pretty big.

I never realized what a "big" girl Bristol is.  I hope she can slim down a little while on the show.  I’m really pulling for her because I think it’s great that she can get a little positive press after all the crap she’s gone through.  I know some people won’t agree with me but then, I was pulling for Kate Gosslin too.

Not totally sure why The Situation is called that, all those guys on that Jersey Shore show have stupid nicknames like that. I’ve only seen them on talk shows I’ve never seen the show before.

much explains it all…he’s got to get his 15 minutes in!  And maybe he doesn’t want his mother to know it’s him on the show…
