     so no show on Thursday or Friday.  Why they can’t show this on a sports station like ESPN or MASN is beyond me, especially for people who are not tennis fans……LIKE ME.

    Crap!!! Now the stories will drag out even more because there is no incentive to move things along. And tennis? How fun is that to watch? Does anyone watch tennis anymore? I agree, that should be on a sports channel.

     when it’s preempted nationally and not just locally, Soapnet doesn’t get it either.

     That’s really strange.  I don’t know even one person who watches tennis.  Maybe it’s more popular outside of the Boston area?  In any event, it should absolutely be on a sports channel.

    And I am used to it and don’t mind it.  It gets pretety good ratings and I know several people who watch it.  I did when I was younger, but not now.  But they can’t put it on ESPN, because ESPN is not basic cable.  Major sporting events like this need to be on basic cable so everyone has access to them.  That was a HUGE complaint about Monday Night Football moving to ESPN, because now not everyone can see it.  It is my major complaint with games playes on NFL Network since my cable provider does not give it as an option.  So I can live without Days for two days to allow all true tennis fans watch their biggest event of the year.

    Of course for me I won’t get Tennis either, since I get stuck with Casey Anthony bullcrap :)
