that Taylor was smiling while she was telling Nicole that Rafe killed their mother? That looked really weird to me. They can’t get rid of her soon enough for me.
to take this actress as Taylor. I wonder if she fully understands this character as I don’t always know what she’s trying to get across to me.
who I still believe is a very good actress in a very bad role, topped off with extremely bad writing. The best possible that could have happened for TB is that she was let go, before this role ruins her completely. I do wish her well and hope she finds suitable work in the future, because she certainly doesn’t deserve this.
There is nothing I like about Taylor. I think I am hyper-critical because I have no warm fuzzy feelings for her. I too, cannot wait for them to write her off. However, as long as she’s on the show, could the wardrobe dept. please, please put her in something that doesn’t look like a Hefty garbage sack!
I noticed that smile too! Very strange indeed. It’s too bad this actress was not in another role. She’s a great actress and plays strong characters well and would have been good either as a strong independent woman or a baddie, but not this in-between "I don’t know what this character supposed to be about" role.
I hated her as Ava and I hated her as Taylor so I can’t imagine her in a role where I would like her. She just seems to emote very strangely in situations where I would expect different actions. I’m sorry but I don’t see the talent others may be seeing. No, she’s not awkward in her roles but I don’t see any particular talent either.
Ava, (at least if I did it wasn’t memorable) and as far as Taylor goes, just don’t care for the character at all – the story line (to me) was forced on us…here Nicole and EJ were going to make a go of it and even before they got married here is Taylor in a triangle with them, think that’s why I didn’t like the Mel/Phillip(I miss him)/Nathan SL either when Mel and Phil were getting hitched – let the couples at least say I do before they say I don’t writers! Otherwise don’t put the couples together at all.
Soap opera digest critic said in this week’s issue something to the effect that she played Carly on GH, Ava and Taylor were basically played the same with different names. Compare that to the two Rafes.
