There’s such a thing as casual skirts/dresses… are we really to believe that Nadia dresses up like that at home?
Besides – she’s at work. Plenty of places have uniforms… IMO an actor’s wardrobe is their uniform.
Maybe I’m just being kind of picky, but I think she’s unrealistic in her day-to-day appearance.

and relax on the couch to read a book, watch t.v., surf the web, etc., in those kinds of clothes? It’s one thing to go out to dinner, dancing, a play/concert, heck even the Brady Pub…but if all she thinks of herself is a dress-up dolly like a Barbie…she doesn’t have any self esteem.
If it’s not the show that has her look so unrealistic for everyday life and Nadia is choosing this look, seems to me, she’s not happy in her job and is hoping that someone in the business will see her and offer her something else like a movie, or prime-time show.
Just wait a minute. Daniel wnet on about how Philip bosses Melanie around and holds all the cards. THen in the next breath, he tells Chloe that he doesn’t want her seeing Philip. well isn’t that the same thing? Bossing and bullying? When Chloe told Daniel that she didn’t like him spending time with Carly, he badically said too bad, she’s a collegue and also my friend. I need to protect her. He even moved her into their place. Isn’t that bullying and bossing?
I don’t get why Daniel gets a pass at having a friend. I know that Chloe and Phil have a history, but Daniel and Crly had a child together, so how can he fell jealous if he can’t accept that Chloe is uncomfortable with Carly??
Daniel treats Chloe like a little girl that only he can protect and resents her relationship with Philip. He is constantly losing his temper and then asking for forgiveness. I just don’t get him.
I think Chloe looks beautiful! So she’s not the jean/sweats type….so what. Most all the soap actresses are dressed to the latest in fashion…including makeup & hair. Even the "bluecollar" people with low paying jobs seem to have the latest in style clothes….I’ve always wondered how Sami managed to always look sooo pulled together for living on her own….and also Mia???
I wear sweats to sleep and all day if I am not going out. No guilt. I want to be comfortable. Of course I never go out in sweats unless it’s for a quick errand or something. Comfort is king.

Daniel must not like himself much because he’s all those things and more, that he despises in Phil!

She’s beautiful I don’t think anyone disputes that. Just the notion that somebody who just hangs around an apartment all day, would bother to dress up like they were going out for the evening, every day.
Nobody I know in the real world does or would do that.

He was so far out of line there. If I were Chloe I would think twice about marrying him at all. Of course she’s even more insecure so maybe they belong together.
off men or else they live off people like kind hearted people like Maggie (Mia for one, Mel was living off Maggie for a while too). Sami has always lived off her Mom, John, or other men in her life (yes, she "worked" but never long enough to collect the first pay check). At least Kate and Nicole "worked" on their backs…for awhile.

wore a nice set of dress slacks one time (and ya gotta figure this was 45/50 years ago so my memory isn’t what it used to be). Didn’t Stefano where just a shirt without a tie a few times? That’s dressing down for him. I don’t mind Stefano not being in casual clothes so much as never seeing Chloe not dressed to the nines…
