Forgive me if this has been covered. I’ve noticed recently, that in all the scenes Caroline appears, she is seated. Does anyone know if the actress is recovering from an illness? She has always been one of my favorites. I’m happy she is still appearing on the show.
gingerly and slow when I last saw her walk; it was kind of strange seeing her sit down for the last scene at the Pub as poor Caroline is always running to get the customers or family food and drink and the family who comes in let’s her get their coffee and chowder and never seems to offer the older woman any help (even with her waitresses and waiters at the bar).
Yes, something happened to her. Remember she jokingly explained it that she had to throw a roughneck out of the bar?
was FF’ding. Thanks for clearing that up Bonbon. Yet, still, do you never notice any of the family offering to help her get their orders, poor lady is always busy, guess they don’t have any lines to give her, so they (show) keep her moving in the background as window decoration. All those family members will need a long-term baby sitter at one time or another and they can’t have grandma disappearing forever upstairs in the Pub.
I would love to know what Carolyn thinks of Victor’s getting married again, as wasn’t the show indicating there possibly, could be, perhaps, might be, a hint of, their having a "thing" at one time?
Does Carolyn ever speak to Maggie? I cannot remember (and that’s not saying much) them having a conversation about anything.
Seems as though I can recall they had some rather harsh words. I quit watching the show on a regular basis for a long stretch and only caught bits of it from time to time. Seems like Caroline spent some time sticking her nose into other people’s business, revealing Chloe’s baby’s daddy. I could be wrong about that too.
As for Victor and Caroline, I always liked the way they acted together, but Maggie is clearly a better match. Bo and Victor’s relationship is fine the way it is, (MHO) and if his Mom and Victor had gotten together, too much would have had to change, for everyone..
Thanks for clearing up her foot problem. It is just strange to see her sitting in the background or standing in one spot behind the bar. I was afraid she had gotten frail, like Alice had become.
I do remember that time when Caroline was a bit of a shrew with feeling it was her place to be in everyone’s business she showed a bit if jealousy and cattiness when Victor seemed to be taking a liking to Maggie.
Yeah I remember when she said that, I thought it was hilarious!
I’m a little surprised that Bo or hope hasn’t asked Caroline how she feels about victor and Maggie getting married. Or even she herself hasn’t said anything about it.
It might have been a symptom of lack of oxygen to the brain by whatever it was that caused the stroke but she had the stroke after she messed with the paternity test and was getting into everybody’s business.
