I know we just saw Carly and Dan together but I already like them together! So we know that Chloe is going to have a problem with her. They look great together.
When they say that Dr. Dan is the father of Mel or Mia. Should be interesting with Chloe and Dan, but I think in the end (a year from now) the couples will be Chloe & Dan and Carly & Justin. But who knows. Days loves to mix up couples!!!
with either Daniel or Justin, but right now it’s obvious that Daniel is very much in love with Chloe, and after all that he went through to get her, I don’t see him casting her aside for a "quickie" love affair with the woman who introduced him to his wife. I don’t doubt that they had a sexual relationship way back then, but I don’t think either Daniel or Carly are aware that possibly Daniel could be the biological father of Carly’s daughter. That, plus usually when a soap starts a relationship off with a very rocky start, i.e., Justin and Carly, they have a way of winding up together. Either way, I like Carly’s attitude and her mannerisms, and her story is getting more and more interesting to me. I hope the identity of her daughter, who I truly believe is Melanie, is soon revealed to her and to the daughter so that they can get the whole story out and start to mend fences.
Don’t let Carly get involved with Daniel. He and Chloe just went through way too much to break them up. I agree that Carly and Daniel certainly did show some chemestry (but I believe Daniel could do that with any woman!!!) but please, oh please, just let them remain friends.
Of course, if they don’t do ‘something’ with that relationship, it’s going to go stale and nobody will want to watch them but, heck, at least let them have a little happiness first.
And if it turns out that Daniel IS the daughter’s father, that doesn’t mean he has to end up with Carly.
The immediate impression w/Carly reuniting w/Dr. Dan was so original, truly believeable as long lost friends. I’d prefer to see Dan stay dedicated to Chloe w/a wedding coming in February and let Carly be involved in building a relationship with the daughter who doesn’t know her life is going to be turned upside down.
I’d prefer LOVE IN THE AFTERNOON rather than watching yet another couple go down the tubes for something stupid.
If having a potential Carly/Dan romance on top of the possiblilty of Dan being either Mia/Mel’s daughter might be a bit too much regarding Chloe’s involvement.
In other words, I think the conflict of Dan having a kid and Chloe not able to is enough of a conflict between those two, while Days could still link up Carly and Justin.
Of course, there’s no way to avoid the natural bond of Carly and Dan over their daughter, at least in the beginning. But it’s not like the child is young.I don’t think Carly and Dr Dan will hook up now, I think it will be the child that causes enough conflict with Dan and Chloe. I think they will get past it though and have a happy ending/marriage.
Of course we could all be wrong and Dr. Dan is not the father and this will just be a nice friendship between two characters.
