Not even Chad can possibly be that stupid to run like that after Marlena seeing him and thinking he is the killer. Anyone in their right mind would have gone for help for her. No one would ever think he was the killer and stayed without finishing the job AND going for help.
Sorry, Patti, I think the writers really blew it on this one. Then taking off with all his money and passport just sealed the deal. They don’t even need a DA so sew this pne up.
I don’t understand why Marlena wouldn’t have an outer office with a assistant to keep track of appointments and answer the phone. Also if she is working in her office alone, why isn’t the door locked or secure?
this would be his third strike and decided, like he said to Abby, who would believe him? I agree, though, running away just confirms his guilt to Justin, Rafe, and everyone else.
When Eve just strolled in to take Laura’s file, no one was in the outer office. In years past, I can recall a receptionist announcing calls or visitors, so they must of moved Marlena’s office when she stopped keeping regular office hours. Not to lock the office, even when she is in it, seems strange. Anyone can stroll in a browse through patient files. This doesn’t make sense, but it is a soap after all, nothing has to make sense or have continuity.
