I’ve been very disappointed about Kate’s marriage to Stefano. I was hoping she be in extreme misery living with him but it appears to me that’s she’s quite happy and even seems to genuinely care for him. Bah! I want to see Kate squirm and suffer. She hasn’t even begin to get pay-back for her evil deeds. Come on, writers, do something!
because she really is much too comfortable. Every time she spouts off at E.J., or uses some ridiculous line like "someone has to tell her (Mary) she’s not part of the family," I just want to grab her by the throat and… well, you get the picture. I don’t know what’s taking so long for the fights over Phillip to begin, but they can’t come soon enough for me. So far all Vivian has done is talk a good game. I’m waiting for her and Victor to at least attempt to actually make good on some of their threats, especially where Kate is concerned. Kate seriously needs somebody to open a can of whoop-ass on her, especially by E.J.
I’m trying to have faith and that it’s all just simmering for now and soon Kate will just boil right over. Viv will make it happen. I’ve been saying for years if we have to suffer through Kate and her meddling then she should suffer by the hands of Vivian.
Well Punky, I certainly hope you are correct; Kate should suffer at the hands of Somebody!!! She has walked around too smug for too long. She deserves punishment, but we know that people seldom get what they deserve – especially in Salem.
I don’t know – I must be twisted…I like Kate but then I’m a Stephano fan too. Yes, Kate is awful, yes, she’s greedy and gritchy – and probably all five of the other baddddd factors of the "(Snow White) and the 7 Dwarfs". And she could have handle her motherhood qualites (or lack thereof) with Austin, Phillip, Billie and Rex/Cassie – much better – she never mentions them, let alone sends them a Christmas card – (daddy – Roman doesn’t mention R/C either poor kids). I remember her way back with she was on the fishing trawler hacking up all those fish, Phillip being "stolen", her having to be a call-girl, etc., she’s got issues for sure but what would we do without a baddy or two on the show like Kate and Stephi? Borrrrrrring!
I don’t know about you, but I’m happy that Philip and Lucas have NOT reneged on their ‘threat’ to disown their mother. Thus, Kate needs Stephano to have a purpose. Too bad, though, that Kate isn’t shown as being a business woman who’s helping out society, especially now at the Holidays.
…for how much longer? Look at how many times Lucas has disowned her and a couple of days later, he’s tied back up to her apron strings. And Philip has done the same thing too many times to take him seriously.
If I were Kate, I’d be pretty devistated to have my kids ignore me like that but it doesn’t seem to phase her a bit. Probably because she also knows they’ll come back to ‘mommy dearest’ in the future. Bah! Kick her to the curb, and then down the drain, I say.
