I know a lot of people here think EJ is just putting on an act of the "good boy" to get back in Sami’s good graces but I don’t think so. I think the writers are intentionally trying to reform him. Otherwise, we’d see those snide little looks and remarks (like Kristen makes) when he’s alone.
Now whether or not he will stay reformed is anybody’s guess but I really don’t think it’s an act. And I’m not even sure yet if I like him like this. But they’ve reformed other bad guys…Bo, Jack, Patch, and look at Victor, he’s almost a milquetoast now.

Didn’t say he was. but he was "bad" in the sense that he was always rebelling against authority. Never did anything anybody wanted him to. But Mrs. H saw the best in him as did her granddaughter, who helped him to focus his rebellion. Ha, remember when Bo got Mrs. H to make her famous donuts for the cops guarding Roman. I forget what he had her put in them, laxatives or sleeping pills, so Bo could break Roman out of jail.
