So I had those other questions about who you wanted to come back, which new character you liked this year and who had the saddest departure, now I wanna know who should leave in 2010 and you would not miss?
My pick would be Stephanie, I don’t like how she wants to be with Nathan just to make Melanie jealous (that’s the way I see it, anyways). haha, I would welcome her parents back, but I want her to go! or at least have a personality makeover.
I’ve never cared to much for her at any point in any of the story lines…her character is bland all the time. Melanie has charisma, sparkle and that hint of mischievouness that is charming…and I didn’t like her at all when she first showed up; but she’s grown on me. Stephanie is just blah, no matter what she does, perhaps writer’s should have given her a more interesting range in her story line, despite her have been a race car driver, an administrative assistan (Titan), college student, and whatever she does at the hospital.
this character is ruined beyond repair. I feel sorry for Shelly, because she does have talent, but I haven’t read one message board where the ‘majority’ doesn’t want to see Stephanie Johnson gone.
It seems like many people don’t like Stephanie but I always have. I think she’s very talented and I don’t see the traits that so many others do. I’d hate to see her go as I think she’s good with whomever they pair her with.
As to who I wouldn’t miss if they left, that would be Chad, Gabby, Mia, Will, or any of the other teens. Their stories just don’t do anything for me.
BTW, I was watching the Kennedy Center awards show last night and they panned Carol Burnett and it struck me that she looked very much like Vivian!
Never liked Steph – too shallow and one-dimensional, after any guy that breathes, has shown sneaky tendencies.
I don’t dislike Stephanie, but I wouldn’t miss her if she left either. I’d love to see Kate gone… and Kinsey! Ugh that girl’s voice just grates on me!!
Stephanie, if they can’t make her a likeable character. Why does she always have to have a man? Kinsey can go and take Gabby with her. Those two serve no purpose. I like Mia, but please make her less mopey this year.
Stephanie also. I also would like to see Mia go, she never is happy. I am fine with the younger crowd, but Mia just is always too sad and serious for a teanager. They need a lighter crowd in there and I think a new Will helps, but I think they need to have Mia leave. Maybe her mother can come back, say she is sorry, and take Mia back. They can go off to wherever she is living now.
Max, but I thought how that ended was odd. Then I liked her with Phillip until they got enganged to early and she started to want to "change" him. I thought then she started to be dumb. Now I think her with Nathan is AWFUL and she is just turning into a mean person. She has no right to tell Phillip how to act "good" when she is not acting "good"
came out with her about her mother, I can see why she is so sad. I’d like to see the back story explored and her get some help to overcome her bad life. Maybe then she could become more like a typical teenager.
I’d get rid of Carly before Stephanie but that’s jmho. I think they need to get Stephanie in an interesting story. Maybe it’s not the character as much as the story? I’d love to see her get involved in some type of mystery etc.
I feel for Stephanie’s character. She lost Max’s affection because of the shennanigans Melanie pulled, to force Max to take her side over Stephanie’s…that led to their breakup. Then when Stephanie moved on, discovered she had feelings for Phillip, again Melanie was right there putting the gabosh on that, ultimately ending her engagement to Phillip! I give her credit for even trying for awhile to be civil,much less a friend with this girl.But, to my amazment, many people have been routing for this very girl who has caused so much trouble and tragedy for so many people…because of her greed.The writters have spent considerable time working her character through these obstacles and neglected IMO to pay attention to a key character( Patch & Kayla’s daughter)who is sentimental to this show. I liked the pairing of Stephanie and Phillip,against all the odds, they managed to get together. I thought they had great chemistry, and thought it was cool cause they are dating in real life! I always thought Phillip had a good and a bad side, myself. And I admired Stephanie for trying to urge Phillip to do the right thing in bussiness and in his life! But here again…alot of people found it appaulling that she wanted to change him…go figure, I’d want my daughter to be more like Stephanie then Melanie. Not that I don’t like Melanie….but she is a bit animated, and get’s on my nerves sometimes. I guess what I’m trying to say is that, I feel the writters have dropped the ball with Stephanie’s character, and focused too much on changing Melanie , and rewarding her with all this story, at Stepahnie’s expense.
Forgot to mention who I wouldn’t mind to see leave….Kinsey, Chad, Will. Seems we have the same gang we had a few years ago,
Mia (Belle) Will (Shawn) Chad (Phillip) Kinsey (jan Spears) Gabby (Mimi) and the boy,forgot his name….but Mimi had a boy friend too!
I thought I was the only one here who sympathized with Stephanie. Although, after despising her, Melanie has mellowed out a little, but I still like Steph better and though the pairing with Philip was a good one. In fact, I still get the impression they both still love each other.
I wonder how many people would like her better if they wrote her part differently. Because I think she’s a good actor, very pretty (after all, she was Miss Teen America), and is an asset to the show.
