I have to admit, I was bummed out at that first quarter, but as soon as Joe began throwing downfield, completing two touchdown passes to Wallace, I knew right then and there we would come back, and we sure did.  Our special teams were a huge part of the win starting with that blocked field goal being recovered and getting us on the board with Cleveland pretty much believing they had it in the bag with a 20-2 score.  Fortunately, for us, nothing bothers Joe in these situations; that’s why he deserves that nickname, "Joe Cool."  Justin Tucker, with three field goals of 52, 49 and 41 yards, has always been solid gold for us, and although the Browns began their home opener in style scoring 20 points in the first quarter, it was our defense who held them to that score all the way through the entire 45 minutes left in the game.  I wonder if McGowan will even be able to come back for the Browns next week.  He took a licking but kept on ticking, but by the end of the game he was hurting pretty bad.  I have to say, I’m impressed with what I saw.  We haven’t started 2-0 since 2009.

goes out to you once again this week for your suffering through the Bills loss to the Jets.  Normally, 31 points scored in any game is a winner; sadly this was not the case for the Bills yesterday.  FitzPatrick and the Jets scored just a touchdown better to get the win.  But knowing how it feels, I can’t help but realize that without the full participation from a healthy Sammy Watkins, yesterday’s type of loss becomes more rcognizeable.  Once again, it appeared that the Bills had the weaker defense, or so it seems.

I’m still not convinced, after watching the Ravens squeek through with the win against the Bills last week, that we will have some sort of explosive win this week in Cleveland.  I’m looking for much bigger and better performances by both our O and D this week if we are to be considered any sort of threat this season.

which is far worse than when they first brought him back, I hope they kill this character off once and for all this time.  As much as many message board fans want to see Hope pay for what she did to Stefano as well as Rafe for helping her to cover it up, if you ask me — Stefano asked for it.  It was about damn time he got his just desserts.  Now, if only they’d do the same thing to Kate Roberts.  But Aiden Jennings and his son, Chase, should be gone, forgotten, and never darken the DOOL hallways again!  I just hope I get to see Rafe punch his lights out before he goes.

the one he believed was coming after the Hernandez family.  That’s what distracted the Salem villains, who then attacked the driver of the transport van, but they just knocked him out; they didn’t kill him.

"hold the fort and damn the torpedos" here!!!  This is what has always been wrong with Jennifer and her "perfect little angels."  Right, J.J., and I guess you don’t consider that she cheated on Ben with Chad to begin with either.  Oh, but it’s okay that you cheated on Paige with her MOTHER….just so everyone knows how you feel about that damn dirty man, E.J. DiMera!  Yes, by all means, HAVE A SEAT!!!!!

but I will admit, what we saw yesterday was not in any way earth-shaking.  Sort of stupid in a way since Orpheus and Xander were more "all talk no action" plots, and we didn’t even see Clyde.  Maybe today will be a little more exciting.  Orpheus has been gone so long, it just seems unbelievable that of all the villains they could have brought back to wreak havoc, they decided on him, who most fans, at least the younger ones, don’t know anything about him.  I was hoping it would have been Vivian.

to Jen Lilley’s exit sl than I am to this wedding, since I’m guessing Xander doesn’t kill her off…..not yet, anyway!  She claims through her social media to be around through November, so whatever happens, it will probably be held back until November sweeps.

not Thomas.  What I’m trying to figure out is who gave Summer that money and her instructions?  I suppose now that was Kate.  I just wish they would explain these damn plots.  This storyline was one of the worst when it comes to making sense or to explaining it with either backstory or flashbacks.  I was just like, okay so this is the new writing, but nothing but it doesn’t make any sense to me.  Nothing says bad writing like plots and mysteries that are solved but not explained.  I’ll wait and see if this one is, but I doubt it will be.

on both sides.  It was, however, a game of great defense, since obviously Tyrod and Joe both had their share of problems; The Bills just made more mistakes than the Ravens, and that’s a fact casey.  They also had more destructive penalties to overcome, but the Ravens defense won the game and held the Bills to 160 yards on the day.  That was most impressive to me, because although Joe started out great, something tells me he’s a bit gun shy when it comes to running or scrambling.  His protection wasn’s all that great, and the Bills got to him quite a few times with the sack.  But, a win is a win, so I’m happy the Ravens got off to a good start.  I guess I just expected a lot more from the Bills, and didn’t see it yesterday.  Neither Tyrod nor Coach Ryan are easily intiminated, and they know the Ravens game very well, so it was a little surprising to me.

and will more than likely be a huge part of November sweeps.  I have learned, as I’m sure eveyone has, not to pay much attention to Corday’s statements.

Oh, wait, should have read your post further.  You said "in Salem" so that’s probably true, but Marci will show up in November.  If the rumor of Clyde kidnapping her is true, we’ll probably see her held prisoner until she’s rescued by someone.  Guess this one will be this season’s Christmas sl.

and I’m pretty sure, as always, Kate Roberts will walk on this crime as she has all others.  This is what tics me off about DOOL, in that certain characters pay the price for every move they make, no matter how trivial; but, the writers’ pets continue to walk on water and their misdeeds go unpunished.  Stinks, but that’s how it goes, folks, take it or leave it!

been a Chad/Billy Flynn fan, but he has certainly grown on me.  I just hope the actress hired as the new Abigail can have a good working chemistry with BF, who has grown into this demanding DiMera role as Stefano’s son.  He also needs to be able to show both sides of that role, I guess, in now attempting to bring the DiMera name up an out of the mud, legitimizing the family businesses, yet all the while still keeping his love for Stefano.  The new Abby must also be able to gel with Billy; otherwise, they may not work.  I only say this because Kate Mansi was so strong in the role that fans will be watching her replacement like a hawk and pick up on any failed connection.  Sad, but that’s the way these soap stars are tested by the fans.  She’s a beauty, but can she act???  Time will tell.

they refuse to let their children grow up.  The way parenthood is portrayed on soaps is far from realistic in the real world, IMO.

and will first appear sometime in late Fall.  You can Google her….very pretty girl but totally different look than KM.  Very blond and ice blue eyes, like Billy Flynn’s.
