Was Lava Girl and Shark Boy (my new names for Nicole and E.J.).  Even Johnny didn’t want to go with them.  As for the wedding itself, Sami could have been naked and all I would have seen is Rafe looking like he just stepped out of GQ.  The wedding was somewhat informal, with the only guests that mattered, but beautifully done, IMO.  The set, the lighting, everything about it, was lovely and the dialogue was well written … not too formal or mushy, yet not too casual either.  I’m not the least bit worried about Sami’s and Rafe’s future together.  Sooner or later the right one comes along and Rafe is definitely it for Sami.  Now, I will just sit back, watch the plotting, and LMAO when it finally hits E.J. no matter what he thinks he may have accomplished by pulling the kids out of their mother’s arms is that one day soon, that will come back to bite him, too.  So, swill down another one, E.J., drink up and boast to high heaven.  You may have won the battle, but you definitely lost the war.

but I thought it was sort of amusing when Tom felt the need to clarify, in depth, how the votes were tallied and the breakdown and percentages between the judges’ votes and the home viewers.  Seems the controversy was so strong this year over the elimination rounds that he or the network felt the need to make everyone understand how the winners were decided. Glad things turned out like they did, but I have to admit that secretly I was rooting for Kyle and Lacy.  But Jennifer deserved it.  Not so sure I feel the same way about Derek.  He seems to be very lucky to pull the best dancers every season.  Little tired of that.

I think she could have made yesterday’s entire speech in front of E.J. stark naked and it wouldn’t have phased him in the least.  Loved when she kept trying to remind him how much in love they once were, and he quickly reminded her that that was before he realized that the baby in her belly was really a pillow up her shirt.  LOL.  Good one, E.J.

and their acting skills haven’t diminished one iota from where they were so many years ago.  They can act practically the entire cast under the table, IMHO.  And both still possess endless beauty and charisma.  Would love to see them more than just a couple times a year, though.

I think Sami and Rafe will last.  The wedding was a bit all over the place, but I loved the way he sighed when Sami told Rafe that whatever happens, she knows he loves her and she could not possibly get through anything without him.  He genuinely sounded like he might cry.  Loved the reference to "blue eyes."  Read an article where Ali S. said he completely adlibbed that line and the writers liked it so much they left it in.  They are very good friends IRL.  As for today, not looking forward to as much with all the E.J./Nicole drama coming; but, one thing I absolutely love is that E.J. will be a broken shell of a man once he realizes he didn’t stop the marriage.  Thought everyone looked beautiful, and I really liked Ali’s hair and dress.  Thought she looked beautiful.  And Rafe …. well, what can I say except ‘good God, that man looks good in a suit.’  What a hunk.

He, too, thought power and money could buy everything he decided he wanted, but it could not buy Rose’s love.  Perfect description in every way to this maniacal bully of a character.  I hate everything about E.J. DiMera…always have…always will.  I only hope that, before this show finally does go off the air, the character has been killed off.   I am so looking forward to today’s, because no matter how much he yells and screams and tortures Sami by demanding his kids, I know he will be a broken man because he, like Cal from Titanic, will still have his wealth and power, but he will NEVER have what he really was after all along, and that would be Sami.  So, good for you, E.J., and I’m sure your children will wind up hating your guts as much as their mother does.

And, Nicole, could you be anymore pathetic than you were yesterday.  How many times do you have to be told by a man to get out.

I don’t know if you watch GH, Natalia Livingston, the actress who played Emily Quartermain, and then, after Emily’s death, she came back as Rebecca, Emily’s twin sister, has been cast in the part of Nicole’s sis, Taylor.  I really liked Natalia Livingston, and she sort of resembles Nicole a little bit.  I’m looking forward to her role on DOOL.

I think it’s going to be pretty exciting, at least from the "new DiMera blood" perspective.  I have a feeling Stefano will see in Chad what he always dreamed he would see in E.J., and will welcome him as his newest heir.  I’m hoping they don’t write him too dastardly, but rather more like Tony, seeing right through his family’s rotten ways, knowing when to use the powers of being the new prince, yet determined to not be ruled by Stefano.  Guess we’ll know in a month or so how it’s panning out, but right now I’m looking forward to seeing where it goes.  I think Casey will be good in the role.  One thing’s for sure, I’m looking forward much more to the sibling rivalry between Chad and E.J. than I am toward a Stefano-in-training scenario.

if Brady and Taylor (Nicole’s sister) fall for each other?  Talk about just desserts …. I would love to see that happen.

with that green facial mask, all I could think of was Margaret Hamilton.  I actually laughed out loud thinking of the comparison between Vivian and the Wicked Witch of the West.

I’m getting ready for the reveal of what we already know, and that is that Chad is the new DiMera.  Wonder if Stefano will take to it right away or not.  I’d be willing to bet this will put a new wrinkle in E.J.’s brow.  Smooth, Kate, how you managed to solve the dilemma by suggesting the DNA test.  But, was that typical Stefano or not?  Bribe the nurse to take the blood and test it right then and there.  They sure do have more than one or two unsavory nurses at Salem U., don’t they?  Can’t remember the name of the male nurse who took the bribe from Vivian, but I seem to recall several in the past who were willing to look the other way for the money.  And really, Gus, tasering Victor?  What a little weasel you are.  Oh, and E.J., I could give you a long list of reasons why you should have picked Nicole up and thrown her into the Salem River, but it would be falling on deaf ears, because I’m beginning to believe that everything she learned, she learned or improved upon by her relationship with you.  Tsk, tsk, tsk!  Love how things are moving right about now.

and I think this one will be different.  She finally found a man who loves her despite her faults, and yes there are many.  But I think she CAN and WILL change with Rafe in her life now.  I can’t wait for tomorrow, even though I know I will be less than enamored when E.J. shows up, but can’t wait until the following week when he will be so broken, he won’t know whether to *hit or go blind.  Another reason to see it for what it really was …. his belief that with the kids would come Sami, but thanks to Raphael Hernandez, who looked like a dream walking, IMO, finally Sami can truly love with her whole heart and soul, and E.J.’s fantasy …. well, that won’t be happening …. not now …. not ever.  Some think it will …. I say it never will.
