she was definitely my choice from day one, but I’m sure Josh, and probably Chris as well, will make out just fine.  They both certainly appeared very humble in wishing Melanie the best and seem like pretty cool guys.  Wishing them both the best as well.

It seems many believe this will turn out to be the case.  That John and Hope are E.J.’s real parents as ridiculous as it sounds, that’s the current belief by many.  The speculation seems to be that E.J. is believed to have been conceived when Hope was Princess Gina and she and John were a thing back then, and that Stefano took E.J. and raised him as his own son.  Now we can do the math all we want, but E.J.’s age has never been established; but, this has never stopped DOOL from rewriting history, and since E.J. was the fastest SORASed kid in the history of the show, why not just throw up our hands now.  BUT, since John is supposedly half Brady, half DiMera, the incest pool has been refilled once again, and that would mean that E.J. sired two offspring with his (how many times removed) cousin, Sami.  Disgusting, but I would not put anything past these writers anymore than I would have of the many who have gone before them.  I just could not stand it if it turns out to be true.

the two characters (Kate and Sami) have so much full, rich history with Days of Our Lives, and it might just be interesting to watch two evil yet dominant personalities try and work together, all the while trying to outwit, fake out, and keep the other guessing as to what they’re up to next.  Neither Kate nor Sami give a red rat’s behind who thinks what of them, as long as they are getting what they want.  Two super baddie females, and life-long enemies at that, working together to get what they want??? Yep, got to be better than anything I’m watching so far.

although Josh and Chris are quite popular, they’re just not my preference in an entertainer, although I prefer Josh over Chris any day.  For the life of me, I cannot see his talent, but that’s just my individual taste.  The show has been having spectacular backgrounds behind the singers, as well as the laser light shows, which have been superb.  Guess it will depend on the ages of the viewers who vpted as to who wins.  If it’s a predominantly younger crowd of voters, then Chris just might sneak in there.  I must say, however, that I WILL be surprised if Josh wins.  He has that gravel voice that started and ended with Rod Stewart, and has been imitated by many, but topped by none, IMO.  You’re right though, it’s a tough one to call.

I’m fascinated by those medieval times, you know, "in days of old, when knights were bold," and dragon-slayers and sorcerers, and all that good stuff.  LOL!

John Black story line.  It’s repetitive, disgustingly boring, and frankly I’ve seen and heard enough of it.  It doesen’s even make sense.  Seems the "hurrier it goes, the behinder it gets."  I may be in the minority, but It’s a silly little milimeter away from fast-forward time for me.  Give me something believable and a DiMera pay-back, or get this *hit over with.

I’m still sticking to my belief that either Stefano is not E.J.’s father, or Susan is not his mother.  Everyone has certainly seen what this man is capable of, and I would not put anything past him.  Otherwise, why is he trying so hard not to let Hope and Bo have any information on this stupid IOU?  There’s more to this than Alice saving E.J.’s life as an infant.

"At the time of his birth, Susan was hired by Stefano to impersonate Kristen DiMera, Stefano’s adoptive daughter who miscarried John Black’s baby. Susan initially believed that Elvis Presley was her baby’s father, but the truth eventually came out that Stefano was the one who fathered her baby via artificial insemination. Kristen’s misdeeds were eventually exposed, and Susan fell in love with Edward Crumb and returned to England with little Elvis. E.J. was partly brought up by Susan, but Stefano also had a significant involvement in his upbringing at Maison Blanche. During much of E.J.’s childhood, Stefano enrolled him in English boarding schools, took him to operas, and molded him into the DiMera way of life.

EJ returned to Salem in 2006 and was introduced as E.J. Wells, a racecar driver. He moved across the hall from Sami Brady, who was involved with Austin Reed at the time. Unbeknownst to all of Salem, E.J. was Stefano DiMera’s son sent to Salem to do his father’s bidding. Most importantly, Stefano made it clear that E.J.’s sole purpose in Salem was to plant his DiMera seed into the Brady woman of his choice".  See:  About.com’s biography on E.J. DiMera.

Patti’s Note:  At least this is how it was told in the beginning, but with Stefano’s character being what it is has always been, I can’t help but wonder…… are these truly E.J.’s bio-parents?   I’m not so sure!

Maybe somehow that’s what happened for this story to make any kind of sense whatsoever.  Anyway, I’m just speculating, as indicated; however, I have always had a feeling that E.J.’s biological parents were not who we thought they were.

this story line has been running that maybe John was E.J.’s father and that Kristen was his mother, and that both Stefano AND Kristen knew this all along, and that’s why Kristen wouldn’t tell Hope anything more than she could when Hope called her.  She knew what would happen to her if she gave up Stefano’s secret.  JMO, and pure speculation; nothing more.

and stay out of Madison’s and Brady’s personal lives; however, that being said, I have a feeling that with Madison’s secret phone calls and back-story, that Sami might have been right about Madison and Brady’s relationship without even knowing it.  That doesn’t mean she should get in the middle of it, though; nor does it mean that she should get into bed with Kate either.  Kate just wants to destroy Madison and Mad World Cosmetics, and if she brings Sami down with them, then that’s just a bonus for Kate.  If their history together proves anything at all, it should remind Sami that she should be able to see right through Kate by now, sooooo, I have to ask myself ….. who’s the wolf and who’s the sheep here, and who’s going to come out on top?  Sami can be just as devious as Kate if she really wants to be.

that Alice could have used that IOU from Stefano for, it boggles my mind.  LOL!
