at least we are seeing some real drama here.  By the way, I thought RJ looked absolutely beautiful today.  I really like the sibling chemistry between Lexi and Cameron, and wonder what will happen to this family once RJ is gone.  And Kate, today, was a piece of work when she eavesdropped on Cameron and Celeste’s conversation.  Boy, she couldn’t wait to have a reason to run back to Stefano, could she.  Nice way to show Ian how appreciative of everything he’s trying to do for her, who was standing right there when she bolted past him to run to Steffie, even though Celeste tried to stop her.  I sure do hope Ian has a plan to watch every move she makes, and will be there waiting with a long rope for her to use when she hangs herself.  But, then, Kate has always been a material girl, and I’m sure Ian knows her well enough to know what he’s doing.  Sure, run to Steffie Kate …. don’t give your son, Austin, a second look in the direction of his misery.  Better be a good sweeps month, that’s all I’m sayin’, cause more than a few Salemites need to go down right about now to keep me positive regarding this show’s future.

to watch a scene with Carrie in it anymore.  And Rafe …. what a disappointment he turned out to be.  He’s as big a hypocrite as Sami as far as I’m concerned.  And Austin …. well, he should be walking around with a big sign on his back saying "KICK ME, I’M AN A**HOLE!

oh, I don’t know, DR. KAYLA JOHNSON to leave her apron on the bar and return as COS of Salem U., at least temporarily, until Patch decides to find  a way to get released from that boring Y&R show and return to Salem.  LOL!

I think Stefano is trying to do a whole heck of a lot of convincing that he has turned on E.J. when, in fact, he is trying to protect him.  I think Stefano knows that he will soon be up to his neck in enemies, and he needs to protect E.J. from all of it.  Knowing E.J. is not his biological son has been something Stefano was aware of before he left for Alimania, and for reasons unknown to us yet, that trip had something to do with Alice’s secret and E.J.’s parentage, and as a result of that I think that Stefano knows that many of his enemies will soon converge upon him and he doesn’t want E.J. (and possibly Kate, as well, since he did set her up before leaving for Alimania), to get caught in the crossfire, and this is his way of protecting them from what is about to happen.  THIS IS NOT A SPOILER ….. These are my thoughts on how Stefano’s storyline is coming together for what could possibly be his departure.  It seems to me that with all the people who would have reason to come after Stefano now, including the ISA, and realizing that between John Black and the ISA, as well as any number of enemies who also now have reason to take Stefano down, this would be the perfect way for the show to go with a ‘whodoneit’ murder mystery as a way to write JM out.  JMHO!

Right now I am very interested in Ian …. not so much for his love for Kate, but how he is connected to the DiMeras, which I strongly believe he is.  Also, I find myself now questioning if Lucas is Ian’s son.  I must admit, thought, I am fascinated with this storyline now.

Last night was a complete disappointment for me.  Everyone, and I mean everyone, is starting to think they have to scream their songs, and at some point they hit those "pitchy" notes that are so obvious.  I didn’t care for the song choices last night, or the way the contestants changed some versions of their songs.  Every song doesn’t need to be rearranged.  For me, last night was nothing more than the final 7 trying to outdo one another in the "loud" department, and it failed for me.  All I heard was a lot of strained vocals, followed by too much yelling instead of singing.  With the exception of Colton, who I do admire and favor, they are all showing signs of one-trick ponies.  I will give kudos to Phillip last night for finally losing the guitar on his second song.
