was Kirstie Alley, when she planted that whopping wet kiss on the show’s host, Tom B.  That just looked so completely trashy to me.  Just inappropriate, IMHO!  Pamela Anderson, another year of slinky sexism?  Looks like it to me.  She got the lowest of all the scores, so I hope she’s first to go tonight.  My poor Maks, getting stuck with her again.  Even though I’m not a fan of Bristol Palin’s, I agree that she was most improved.  Last year she was like a mannequin.

why would the writers decide to put Jen back in her job at the hospital?  That tells me they intended to reunite Daniel and Jennifer right off the bat.  She needed to be as far away from Daniel and Daniel from her as they could possibly put them.  Now, it’s too darn late.  With Nicole rubbing her "affair" with Daniel in Jen’s face, and then having Jen overhearing E.J.’s revenge plan to take down Nicole by proving her, Daniel and Rafe conspired in switching the DNA test, it’s putting Jennifer with Daniel back on the table way too soon after Jack’s death.  The writers have completely overlooked that not only were Jack and Jen an original super couple, but Jack was, and Jennifer is still, an experienced journalist.  She should have gone back to journalism classes and possibly have used her investigative skills to take down Nicole and her lies.  Instead, she decides to do it at the hospital, right under Daniel’s nose, which now puts her own job in jeopardy as well.  E.J. made it very clear he knew from the start Nicole’s baby was his.  Now he is preparing to ruin all of their lives.  Maybe this will teach Jen a lesson not to listen in on conversations she only cares about because she heard Daniel’s name and E.J.’s plans for him.  Another Snoop Sister hot on the trail.  She should have shown her respect for Jack’s journalistic talents as well as her own and gone about this in an entirely different direction.  I’ll never understand why writers have to always have a "plot" behind their story lines instead of making the character, especially a veteran character like Jennifer Horton Deveraux, become so unlike her history.  Too bad!

strapless at the top, with ruffells from waist to bottom.  I don’t know if I cared for the large gemtone decoration on the front though.  Guess it was supposed to be diamonds, but probably rhinestones.  One thing, I liked it a whole lot better than her first wedding dress.

and yes, congrats to the Bills, too.  I was like a cat on a hot tin roof throughout the entire game last night, and am so proud of the Ravens, especially the way the game started out.  I must admit, I had some doubt, but mainly because these replacement referees are not qualified to do this job.  So many bad calls in so many of yesterday’s games, but; hey, I’ll take em’ any way I can get em.

boosting his insecurities now that he and Sonny have decided to be together and Sonny has assured him how much he cares, and that he (Sonny) will not let anyone, including his own family, try and talk him out of being with Will.  I think that was enough of a confidence boost for Will to begin to relax, and I think that’s exactly what he needs instead of Marlena and Kate and Sami talking for him.  Maybe he’s going to need them to talk to Lucas, because I still don’t think Lucas will be is understanding about his gay son as he claims to be, or like his grandmothers and his mother seem to be trying to be.  We’ll see, I guess.

he’s much more pleasant to watch now that he and Sami have reunited as mother and son; however, I hope he gets over his insecurity now that he and Sonny are together.  It’s depressing watching and listening to him being so down on himself all of the time.  I know Marlena tries to be, and at times succeeds in being, his conscience and always makes him feel she is his biggest cheerleader, but at times I wish he would discuss his feelings with his peers.  After all, they all know Will is out now, so he needs to confide in his friends a little more than his grandmother.  I think it would be a big boost for his ego.  Even "T" is coming around, realizing that he and Will have been friends for what apparently is most of their lives; best friends at one time.  I actually liked their conversation at the HTS the last time they were on.

Gabi was a character that I wanted GONE.  I didn’t think she was a good enough actress to begin with, coupled with another possible psycho-teen on the loose.  NOW, I find her not only interesting, but I love her with Nick, her acting has suddenly come to life, and her redemption is not only believable, but welcome from this fan.  I really like the way the characters are interacting on the show now, from all of the characters …. the ones I love, to the ones I hate, to the ones I love to hate.  Congrats to GT and MW.  Just goes to show that writers who know the show, and the history of its characters can make a world of difference.  I actually find myself looking forward to each day with pleasure rather than boredom.  Liking the show more and more each day.  Good luck to Molly in all of her endeavors.  Why is it, though, that an actor/actress doesn’t become truly likable until they are on their way out?

I need this crap between Sami and her men to end, though.  Add Nicole and her misguided love-life to that as another story line that needs to stop….NOW!  I love the way they are writing Sami now.  She’s acting and speaking normal, and she’s actually thinking of people other than herself.  Thank you writers.  She’s working much better for me now, especially her relationship with Will and Marlena.  It was fun, though, seeing her and Kate put their weapons of destruction aside to blast Adrienne for blasting Will and attempting to end the relationship between Sonny and Will, whether she knew anybody overheard it or not.  Let’s face it, those who remember the Johnson family’s history know Adrienne should not be throwing stones anyway.  Glad Justin reminded her of that fact.  I’m glad to see Rafe and Sami at least realizing the mistakes made and trying to talk things out, even though I’m sure E.J. will try and prevent them from getting back together.  Loved their fight, by the way.  Best one on DOOL in quite a while.  God love em’, James Scott can try and make himself look like a tough guy til the cows come home ….. I’ll never see it, though.  Now, Chad is a different story.  What a paranoid hot-head he’s becoming.  It suits him, though, so much more than E.J.  He appears more like the familial Stefano would want by his side, heir to the throne …. in other words, a ‘true DiMera’, and I have a feeling he will get his wish.

as a matter of fact, she’s been trying to stop him from butting back into her life; but, now that she knows that the truth is going to ruin him and that Nicole is perfectly willing to let that happen, she’s trying to help him avoid ruin.  AZ is a terrific actress, but I do NOT like the character of Nicole.  She makes Sami look like a day-player.  As for Jen, just because she is looking out for Daniel’s career doesn’t mean she’s trying to get back with him.  I don’t see that happening, and I don’t happen to see Jen playing it that way; but, as usual, that’s JMHO.   Besides, I think they are probably moving Jennifer toward Brady.  This is the second encounter they’ve had in the last couple of days.  Personally, I hope Nicole pays dearly for this when the truth comes out, and it will eventually, and that E.J. does win his case.  Nicole has everybody snowed because for some reason people refuse to see past her unscrupulous ways.  Well, sorry, not me.  I kind of hope the truth is revealed and that E.J. wins his case, and gets sole custody of his child.  I also hope he sticks to his guns and kicks Nicole to the curb.  Then maybe she’ll know how it feels having her child ripped from her, like she did to Sami.  As far as Rafe and Daniel are concerned, unlike E.J. or any other DiMera on this show, it’s about time they start a new plot …. if you do the crime, you do the time.  Put some reality back in this show.

and after today’s show, it looks like it’s starting.  Just where Bo fits in with it, I don’t know that it will.  Caroline’s storyline is just beginning, and Bo exits in about 6 weeks.

I have always felt she was so darn babified, even to the way she speaks.  And, yes, she did like the attention she got from both guys, but I do believe it was always Jack for Jennifer, and the only reason she let herself fall for Daniel in the first place was because she thought Jack was gone for good (silly girl).  By the time Jack returned, it was too late to stop the attraction (and that’s all that it was to me) between Jen and Daniel.  There weren’t too many "super-couples" on DOOL throughout it’s history, but Jack and Jennifer were certainly one of them.  And, yes, Nicole is a seductress, and she always will be.  She’ll admit it herself.  There’s not a doubt in my mind that she’ll be going after another one of Salem’s sons in the very near future …. collar or no collar.  She knows how to use a man to get what she wants, and the majority of the time, that’s with sex.  She was using Daniel from the start, and he was using her to get over Jennifer, but not because he loved her, and now she’s developing feelings for him.  Nicole’s no better than E.J.  That’s why so many people like them together.  They both have the looks and know the manipulation game, waaayyyy above and beyond Samantha Brady herself.  Nicole and E.J. are masters of their trade.  They’re both use sex to get what they want.   I think Jennifer had the right idea when she first thought about not taking the job at the hospital.  It just put her back into Daniel’s world too quickly.  I give him credit that he’s trying to stay away from her, even though he’s never really gotten over her.   Truth be told, everybody uses everybody on this show.  It seems these writers are no better than any others when it comes to writing good, strong, healthy, loving relationship without somebody using somebody; you know, character-driven NOT plot driven stories.  Jennifer looks and acts like the pure and driven snow because that’s her M.O.  That’s the way she’s been treated by the Hortons and the Bradys and everyone else in Salem since her character arrived, but she’s finally learning how to fight her own battles, and that much I do like about her.

but this last one he was asked to take a 40% salary cut.  That’s just ridiculous, IMO.
