ParticipantI was not impressed with any of the guys last night. Thought the last guy, Cortez, was it, was pretty good, but none of them were outstanding, IMO. Nicki got on my nerves big time last night. She’s the female Simon Cowell, or at least she thinks she is. Keith Urban is better than the other 3 judges put together. But, if truth be told, I would trust Jimmy Levine’s judgment more than anyone’s.

ParticipantI hope Shamar is standing long after Reynolds and Eddy are gone, but I really need to see more shows to see if Shamar will be improving in his attitude; otherwise, I think he’ll take his self out. I can see he does not like being told what to do, but in his case it’s because he knows these two are trying to get rid of him, and will attempt to influence the rest of the tribe against him as well. So far it’s not working for them; but, regardless, if it continues much longer, I expect he’ll quit. What does surprise me, though, is that at tribal council, everyone seems to be against him and throws him under the bus for his attitude, but when it comes time to vote, they don’t vote him out.
Patti
Participantexcept for Hope, and the only reason we see that is because there’s nowhere else to put her, since the writers seem to have decided to backburner Hope Brady until PR makes up his mind if it’s okay to close the door now. Should be.

Participantand she knows what she did and said to Abigail, yet managed to throw her arms around Daniel and turn the whole thing around. I will admit, Nadia’s acting was better yesterday than I’ve seen in a long time for her. I agree that Abe was there long enough to see and hear what was going down with these two. Nobody does cat fights, though, like Sami. No one ever will.
Patti
Participantpeople are going to continue to blame Sami for everything in all this, knowing in their hearts that Same is dead to right, and except for the audience, no one knows or can appreciate it. When Will loses his child and THEN the truth comes out about Nick’s intentions, I hope Sami rails into more than one person who has blamed her for trying to keep Will from losing his child. When Will was blaming Sami for everything in his conversation with Lucas yesterday, I wanted to slap him more than I wanted to slap Nick, because Will is a mess in this whole thing and the more I see how he’s acting and in denial, the more I think maybe he shouldn’t be raising this baby. What’s he going to do if something serious with the child happens? He’s way too immature to be a parent. Anyway, people can hate Sami all they want, but when the truth in all of this surfaces, I’m hoping Sami tells them all to go straight to hell, especially Lucas and Will.

Participantit could be something he has and doesn’t even know it. He shirked helping at the beginning, but he’s been better lately, and these assholes make no bones about the fact that they want him gone, so I guess you like who you like and I like who I like, don’t we, which is the way it should be.
Patti
Participanthead to toe, and I hope to God I never see that bun again! LOL!
Patti
Participantbut I pretty much agree with your above post, maxine. I was so happy to see Sami slap that crazy ass Nick. Frankly, I’m surprised she didn’t do it with a closed fist, though. LOL!
Brady is a fool, all right, and I’m afraid it’s going to get a lot worse before it gets better. I cannot for the life of me believe he’s falling for Kristen’s crocodile tears and lies, but you know what, I have to agree with everyone else in that Brady is a grown man so if he insists on pi$$ing with the big dogs, he has to take whatever’s coming. John, Marlena, Sami, and everyone else for that matter have to learn that, and Brady will have to take his lumps knowing his eyes were wide open when he got screwed over.
I also like Jen and Dan, but must admit they were beginning to bore me ……. until today. Loved him putting Chloe in her place. I also wanted Abbey to wipe the floor up with Chloe. At least Dan saw that one, too and it will make him even angrier at Chloe …. for now anyway. Normally, I don’t think Nadia is a good actress, but that fight between her and Abbey was very well done, right down to Chloe’s horrid remarks about Jack, taking Abbey over the cliff. Up until today, both Chloe and Abbey were boring me to tears. I think it’s also time for Anne to get fired, now that she’s been reduced to Parker’s babysitter. I need her to explode on Jennifer with Kayla standing in ear-shot and fire her useless butt, since there’s no explained reasoning why she hates Jennifer so much except for the fact that she is a Horton ….. and Anne’s NOT. Time for her to go.
Guess the only thing I disagree with is I need the Sami of today back, and she can’t be that way with Rafe, so they might as well keep her with E.J. I’m sure the two of them will have some amazing surprises in this baby storyline before too long, and I for one can’t wait until Nick and Gabi both get unveiled. Gabi is no saint, and Nick will soon have his prison backstory dumped in his lap, but in the meantime I need Sami and E.J. to give him as much grief as he’s giving Will. Gabi is a little fool who can’t see him for what he is, but she has enough of her own skeletons, and it’s time for them to come out as well, before they try, and worse, succeed, in taking Will’s little girl away from him legally. Enter Elvis J. DiMera, Esquire.
Abbey needs to be with Chad, not Cameron, who is just boring to the bone IMO.
And Nicole needs to shut the hell up, and back off Eric. Go break up Kate and Rafe now that you’ve gotten a glimpse of a little more than baby talk goin’ on there, Nikki. Shame on you. You’re not mad at Eric for any other reason than the fact that he loves his vocation, and all that it entails, and therefore can resist his love for you, so leave the good father alone and find yourself someone a little more like you —- like Rafe.

Participantshe sang Sweet Dreams last night and I thought she really sounded great. She was the third girl to get through last night.

Participantthat’s for sure, but I think it’s because of Reynolds mostly; now, Eddy is a Reynolds puppet, so he goes along with just about anything Reynolds wants. Shemar probably does slack in duties around the camp, but I get the feeling that it’s because he knows people are trying to get rid of him. Seems the blond girl (can’t remember her name) is his only friend, and even she’s using him because she knows how strong he is and how much they need him on challenges. Actually, Eddy lost that challenge for them in my opinion, because he had about 6 chances to hook that last ring and couldn’t do it, and that’s why Brandon won for the faves. I guess I feel bad for Shemar because he just got back from his tour in Iraq, where he admitted to the one friend he has that he was really affected by what he saw over there. Maybe he has PTSD, but the few times he did pitch in, nobody even acknowledged it. His attitude is bad because his team doesn’t want him there and he knows it. He even threatened to quit, but promised his blond friend that he would stay a few more days and see how it goes. I can’t wait for Reynolds and Eddy to both go, but Reynolds has the idol and he let it be known. That’s why he’s so damn cocky at these tribal councils, but so far it hasn’t gone his way the last two times they’ve been there when he’s made it clear he’s determined to get rid of Shemar. I don’t expect Shemar to go to the end, but I hope he beats out these two losers before he does go.

Participantthey are so out to get Shamar thrown off, but their game keeps backfiring. Last night they lost Eddy’s hook-up, and the week before, Reynolds eye candy got sent home. These boys better learn to keep their hatred of Shamar to themselves before they’re both on the outside looking at the game from their TVs. Cochran is extremely quiet this time around. Would love to hear what’s rattling around in his highly intelligent brain. Phillip is still pumping his self up on a weekly basis, trying to convince the audience how wonderfully smart and "in shape" he is, but he seems to be playing a team game much better this time around.

Participantof the Nick and the inmate storyline, which I’m anxious to get into. The inmate (Vargas) who stabbed Nick in prison circled his calendar with the date of March 15th I think, which is when he will be getting out of prison, so it’s perfect timing for Eric to begin his counseling, not knowing, of course, that he is the prisoner that will take Nick over the edge, as if he can get any worse with his obsession of Gabi and what he refers to as "HIS" baby. Can’t wait.
Patti
Participantin that she did not go into all of the horrible things she did, just mentioned that she has a past she is not proud of, although I don’t believe her for a minute. It was a surprise to me that the writers even gave consideration to all of the years she has been away from Salem, but they gave us just a taste of everything that went on and why she is now trying to convince Brady that she was the victim here. She may be softening to her idea of destroying Brady, but she knows she will never beat Stefano and I simply took it as an extension of her designs on John and Marlena by convincing Brady to move into Stefano’s home. In any case, at least I think we’ll be seeing a better storyline in the making than watching Kristen and Brady in bed 90% of the time. Stefano returning next week, as well as John, should be interesting, so I say "let the games begin."
