I think of it as sort of having a very super-fine screen over the lens or something to give that very “smooth”, near perfect complexion on photos. I’m sure they’re doing the same thing with cameras shooting movies and TV.

As for Kellie’s dress, guess I wasn’t paying attention because I never noticed it, but I do think that’s all trick photography, like the floor, and that dance Derek performed last night with (forgot her name) ….. dancing on the walls, the ceiling. That was terrific. I would imagine that changing colors on something can’t be that hard for the camera to do.

I do remember they were all friends at one time, eons ago; but they were more like frenemies when Kristen first came back to Salem. Jen didn’t even want to talk to Kristen when Kristen came to her office, so I guess I remembered more of that period of time when everyone was against Kristen back for everything she to Marlena, including Jennifer.
no matter who Kristen is on screen with, Eileen makes her believable to me. Even though I don’t recall Kristen and Jennifer being BFFs, her scenes with Jen today made it obvious she believes Jen her one and only friend, and it clearly affected Kristen on screen. Admittedly, Kristen sounds like nothing more than a flip-flopper when it comes to Brady, but she made me believe today that she is actually falling in love with him and his desire to give her the one thing in life she has always wanted….a child. Of course, that depends on where the cliffhanger goes today and just might prove me wrong if John convinces her that he has decided to throw away his wife AND his son for her. By the way, if that does happen, I don’t see much of a future for Drake remaining in Salem, because he will be playing a role while Kristen will be convinced she has won John back, which is not his intention and this I also truly believe. But, will he just leave Salem, or perhaps they will kill him off. Will Sami be shooting John for betraying Marlena? Maybe! I certainly would hope if he does decide to sleep with Kristen simply to prove his point to Brady, that Marlena will never take him back. I did, however, love the flashback scene with Kristen and Marlena in that secret room. Another great acting day for Miss D.
she’s going to be Salem’s future serial killer. Lauren Boles is turning into quite the little actress lately. Her rebellion and smug tone with Hope should set off a light-bulb in Hope’s head. I have a feeling Ciara’s missing Bo is going to be the least of Hope’s worries. They’re giving Lauren Boles some good lines, too. I LOL’d today the way she gave Sami the side-eye when she was trying to show her concern, all the while watching out for the dirty cop. Then, when the regular cop came in asking where Hope was Ciara told him “oh, she’ll be back ten minutes ago.” So, the cop leaves the letter for Hope, which little clepto Ciara hides behind their picture so Hope doesn’t have to delay the zoo trip any longer. All that, plus she’s still carrying around that damn photo, so I see Ciara turning into quite a handful in the near future.
