    and I certainly agree that there are times when she makes more sense than not.  Her concerns for Stefano’s revenge were well within the realm of reality, and I sincerely believe she was right when she told E.J. that the people he will seek to hurt will be the ones E.J. loves the most.  That much, at least, is a given as far as I’m concerned.

    I loved the way they showed the action between the two fights yesterday.  It was actually so in character for Sami to not get upset with E.J. until she found out he had been doing this behind her back for 5 months.  I LOL’d when that was her main concern at first —- "AND YOU DIDN’T TELL ME???"  Then, when she finally did get it, she began to make more sense than E.J. did.  Great lines there by both of them.  Awww, I was glad to here her say, "because I love you," when he asked her, then why do you want to marry me.  It showed me once again that the writer are serious about keeping these two together.

    Justin and Adrienne are always a pleasure to watch, but it was so interesting to watch the fights side by side.  What a pleasure to see Justin stand up to Adrienne, even though her points were well taken and she was genuinely scared to death of Stefano taking revenge on her family, including Sonny.  Especially loved when Justin reminded Adrienne where all the Kiriakis money came from, inferring she wasn’t complaining how they’re living now either.  But having to sit back and watch Adrienne try to convince Sonny to leave Will and Ariana Grace has somewhat turned me against Adrienne, and I think it will be even worse for me very soon, since I believe she will not hesitate to turn that video over to the police when she finds it, especially now that she knows what Justin and E.J. have done to Stefano.

    Kristen’s plots and schemes never get too stale for me as long as they are including other people and not just Marlena, although I realize that whatever she does, and whomever she destroys doing it, has Marlena as "End Game" written all over it.

    Still think Maggie needs to STOP and TAKE A SEAT where Dan and Jen are concerned.  I don’t know how many times she has to be told, but I was quite happy when Daniel told her to "butt out" yesterday.

    I hope Eric’s memory returns full blast soon, because I have a sick feeling that Kristen’s plan to destroy Marlena will be at his destruction, both in and out of the church.  Will Kristen plan to show that sex video at the opening of the new school?  Bummer!  Hello Eric, goodbye Father Brady!  Or will we see another Nicole to the rescue?

    Finally, Parker looked so cute with his new haircut, and now he’s watching the Sami/Bernardi video.  Even though I know it won’t happen, it would be funny if he dropped and broke Adrienne’s phone, or accidentally deleted the video.  Probably not, though,  — it’s needed to get Sami processed and on her way to jail, so I doubt that would happen.

    Another great show yesterday, IMO.  I cannot believe we are approaching the August sweeps, and we are still getting great shows through the summer.  Thumbs up, writers!!!

    even if E.J. and supposedly Justin has been planning this coup, obviously off-screen, five months simply doesn’t begin to equate that speed of allowing him to simply ‘take over’ ALL of Stefano’s holdings, his companies, his home, and any and all of his assets.  Unless we begin to see Stefano unleash a DiMera/Kiriakis war on E.J. as well as Justin, and fulfill his promise to "bring E.J. to his knees", I would have to agree this is the beginning of the end of the Phoenix.  Somehow, I just can’t make myself believe this is what will take place.  I think his plan will be to use Sami and his known whereabouts of the mysteriously non-existent razor as his human shield when he is ready to take E.J. down.

    who is going to add to Jennifer’s and Daniel’s woes.  I already dislike her intensely.  And, yes, I do believe this will be an intentional move to bring Kimberly back on board.  Ugh!  I think PP has already been asked to return for what I sincerely hope will be a "very" short stint.  I would so rather it be Shane.  Haven’t read anything about him, though.

    of her shooting him, which I thought was ridiculous.  Sami has never given Rafe a reason to believe she would ever think of hurting Rafe in any way.  I guess this is supposed to be a build-up for his temporary memory loss.

    I’m thinking Stefano may have lost the battle, but the war is just about to begin.  I think he will still go after Rafe, as well as E.J.  The thought of Kristen abiding by anyone’s rules is a stretch, least of all E.J.’s.  She will probably still keep close contact with Stefano, which may wind up being E.J.’s downfall in the long-run.

    Although there was a lot of filler today, I thought the interaction of much of today’s cast was well balanced.  It was nice to see Kayla today and I must admit, I do prefer watching Daniel in doctor mode as opposed to him and Jennifer going round and round about JJ.  I also would love to have Theresa be an undercover cop assigned to investigate the drug problem in Salem, and be the one to take JJ down and out.  The very idea of JJ crushing on her could leave a lot to the imagination of where her storyline is going to go, so I’ll be patient for now, but in no way do I want to see her reciprocate JJ’s infatuation with her.

    Kate and Rafe needs to just go away.  I’m no longer intrigued by them and would much rather see Kate in a triangle with Stefano and Cicily, because I do believe a lot of Stefano’s reasoning behind his actions is to ‘punish’ Kate for falling for Rafe, but I do think he is still in love with her in some sick way, and Cicily is a means to make Kate jealous if, in fact, Rafe does wake up and come to his senses where him and Kate are concerned.

    There are four (4) sons, i.e.:

    Alexander Neil Kiriakis (Justin’s son with Angelica Devereaux);

    Victor Kiriakis, II (son, twin, adopted);

    Joseph Kiriakis (son, twin, adopted); and

    Jackson (Sonny) Kiriakis (Justin’s son with Adrienee)

    Upon returning from their honeymoon, Justin and Adrienne took pity on Angelica’s wacky housekeeper, J.J. Bagwood, and hired her as their own. Coincidentally, Justin and Adrienne were having problems conceiving, so when J.J. became pregnant she offered to give her twins to them. After the baby’s births on September 19, 1990, their biological father, Stanley, came forward to claim them. Like their father, J.J. also had doubts about giving up the twins, but they soon realized that Justin and Adrienne could give them a better life. After handing over custody, both J.J. and Stanley left Salem. A short time later, Adrienne became pregnant and eventually gave birth to a health baby boy, Jackson. Needing a fresh start, they moved to Texas with their children and started the A.J. Construction Company. Before leaving Justin, Adrienne, and Victor all reconciled and Johnny Corelli reunited Justin with Alexander, the son who he believed had died.

    Although never shown on-screen, Justin returned to Salem in 2007 with Adrienne and his sons. While she was busy helping her family deal with the fallout of her recently resurrected brother Steve’s brainwashing, he tried to reestablish roots, but soon found it hard to readjust to life back in Salem. In January 2008, Justin accepted a job in Dubai and moved his entire family there.

    In August of 2009, Justin, now a lawyer, returned to Salem (and this time he was seen on screen). Victor’s godson, Dr. Daniel Jonas, had been falsely accused of attempted murder so Victor sent for his nephew to provide Daniel legal representation. Justin quickly returned from Dubai and got to work. His first victory on the case was when he thwarted Charles Woods, Salem’s new D.A. Woods attempted to railroad Daniel, who had just gotten out on bail, and have him sent back to jail for a “violation,” but Justin saved the day with his sharp skills.

    Aside from the case, Justin was thrilled to see his family and friends in Salem. While catching up with Victor, Bo and Hope, he mentioned that Adrienne and his children were fine, although Jackson was the only one of their sons still living at home with them. Later, however, when Justin talked with Hope in private, he admitted that he and Adrienne were having marital problems. Part of their problems stemmed from them not adjusting well to the impending “Empty Nest Syndrome” once Jackson leaves home. Soon after, Justin received divorce papers from Adrianne.

    Justin found comfort with Hope, who was also separated from Bo. However, she did not return his feelings. In March of 2010, Hope called Adrianne to Salem, under the false pretense that Justin was in trouble, in hopes that the two would reconcile. The two butted heads and once Adrienne realized that Justin had developed some feelings for Hope, Adrienne was furious. But, as Bo and Hope reconciled, Justin and Adrienne began growing closer as well. The two went to Vegas to get remarried in April of 2011.

    Back to me:  I must say, it’s weird that no other further explanation has been made thus far as to exactly where the other 3 sons are at present.  Evidently, they stayed in Texas, or perhaps stayed in Dubai, who knows.  Personally, I would like to see them show up in Salem at some point (hint, hint writers).

    some kind of confrontation, again, with Brady, and then he’s gone, so I’ve read.  No exit storyline, just gone.  And, his daughter tweeted that the article in SOD was a bold-face lie — Drake has NOT been taping, nor has be been  contacted by ANYONE related to DOOL with a return offer yet.  Bummer for me

    (and by they I mean the writers) chem-testing Gabi and Cameron.  I really don’t see her and Nick getting back together after all that’s taken place with Nick telling Gabi that he never truly was in love with her, but instead was in love with the idea of having his own family.  I could see Gabi with Cameron more than I can see Abbey with Cameron.

    were definitely a welcome addition.  I was afraid they weren’t going to do anything at all.  As far as JJ and T’s attention to the baby, I didn’t think that was not normal for a teenaged boy.  Most young guys don’t even know how to hold an infant properly.

    I thought everyone’s outfits were really cute and festive today, especially Jennifer’s and Gabi’s dress, and Abbey was a knockout in that swimsuit.  Adrienne’s pants, not so much, but all in all I really did enjoy today, or at least up to the point when JJ decided to sneak out of the picnic after Jennifer decided to let him attend in the first place.  Way to go, Adrienne.  Let’s see if you’ll take any blame when and if Jen comes back and finds him GONE.  So, what does he do — he meets up with his weed-head friends, and then tries to hook up with the young but nevertheless ‘woman’, that his mother caught him with in her house.  This kid will never learn, especially since Jennifer’s idea of ‘tough love’ is to take away his video games and cell phone as his ‘punishment.’  I hope Jen rips into Adrienne for talking her into allowing JJ to go to the picnic in the first place, especially when she asked her to make sure JJ stayed put when Jen had to leave.  What is it going to take for these parents to open their eyes to the fact that this kid is playing all of them like a cheap fiddle.  I am so hoping Theresa (Jen Lilley’s character) is a narc.  That would make my day.

    but I do like them together. The writers seem to be more interested in tearing couples apart rather than having their love grow and strengthen. Those that are involved with someone are constantly being destroyed by throwing all sorts of obstacles in their way. The days of “love and romance” are so gone in soaps that they are no longer an audience’s “take me away” fantasy. Instead they are full of despicable villains with scripts that are vile and disturbing to go along with their dastardly deeds. Long gone are the days of Tom and Alice, Bo and Hope, John and Marlena, Doug and Julie, etc., etc. I wish we were seeing Julie in this storyline with JJ right about now. Talk about a tortured, yet determined to be destructive, teenager who’s been there, done that, she would be a perfect insertion in this JJ storyline right now. Instead, we get another troublemaker (Jen Lilley) destined to heap even further problems on Jennifer’s plight. Now, I’m not saying a soap doesn’t need it’s fair share of villains and their storylines, but DOOL has become overwhelmed with them and “love” has become just another 4-letter word.
