Participantis Adrienne. I don’t know what in the heck they are doing to her, but it seems like her hair and wardrobe are being downgraded to match her attitude. She just looks awful lately. I’m sure Judi wouldn’t pick that outfit or that hairstyle. Another woman’s looks shattered to fit the mold the writer has put her in.

ParticipantI noticed she hadn’t been on the board much of late, but I thought she simply had a set-back and that we might hear from her when she felt better. I don’t know that I will ever be able to watch American Idol again without thinking of her. I remember how she used critique after every act when she felt up to it. My heartfelt condolences go out to her family, especially her mom, whom she always spoke of with such high regard. Rest in peace, dear friend.

Participanta few months back; however, I prefer her hair the way she wore it the other day when she wore the pink dress, and the way it appears in the portrait. That’s my favorite look for Sami’s hair. What I don’t like is if it’s too straight or too curly, just a loose wavy slightly curled look.
Yes, she did take the "Lady of the Mansion" a bit too far, but Adrienne deserved it as far as I’m concerned.

ParticipantI, too, have six grandchildren; 4 girls and 2 boys, and I love each one of them with every fiber of my being. We, too, are very affectionate with one another and I would think nothing of sleeping with or lying on the sofa with 5 of them, the girls and one boy ages 7 to 15; however, when it comes to my 21 year old grandson, I would draw the line in some instances. He’s a young man in my eyes, and that’s the way I will see him for the rest of my life. Doesn’t mean I don’t hug him or give him a kiss when we see each other, but putting my legs over his legs and/or laying down together would not be something either one of us would be comfortable with, I’m sure. Yes, I know, every family is different in how they show affection, so to each his own is always the best answer to discussions like this.

ParticipantMarlena acts like a giddy schoolgirl around Will, and some of their (mostly hers) actions are slightly inappropriate, very unlike grandmother/grandson; more like, and again, I’m sorry to say this, but girlfriend/boyfriend. They’re a little too touchy-feely for my liking — always have been. Marlena giggles like a schoolgirl when she’s talking to Will. This in no way detracts from my love for Marlena. I just feel a very unnatural presentation when it comes to their relationship, especially when they are alone together.

Participantbecause I have always loved Judi Evans. I was so happy when she returned (mainly because I couldn’t stomach her as Bonnie) and they reunited Adrienne and Justin; however, now I find myself comparing her to Maggie or Kate or just about any other interfering, meddling mother who insists on running their grown children’s lives, which seems to be the norm for DOOL today. Her dislike for Sami is fine, but this all began with her not thinking Will was ‘good’ enough for Sonny. She needs to take a timeout and reflect on her past before she goes spouting off on anyone. I sincerely hope these writers fix her before she drives her entire family away; but, then, perhaps that would be best for all of them right about now.

Participantwith brains, beauty, and the mind of a shark in a pool full of minnows — and that’s the way she should stay – for me anyhow. She belongs with Stefano DiMera — I would love to see what would be happening to Sami and E.J. if Kate and Stefano were still together today, but I’m afraid that train’s left the station. Not everyone has to have a love interest to be a great soap opera character, and certainly not a couple with zero chemistry in the love department, which is what Lauren Koslow and Galen Gering have – zilch; zero; nada. As always, of course, this is JMO.
Woops, this was meant to reply to justwondering’s post.

ParticipantI would choose Brooks. Chris just is not my type, but Zach was really cute and had such sweet ways. I would rather have seen Zach stay and Drew leave, but fortunately, for her, it’s Des’ choice, not mine. LOL!

Participantand certainly not with Sami. I do, however, see good chemistry with Hope, and wish they would put them together at some point, since it’s obvious that Peter Reckell is not returning, unless these ridiculous PsTB continue to sit on their hands and not kill Bo off so that a wonderful actress like Kristian Alfonso can move Hope into bigger and brighter things for her future. I think their dynamic of two police detectives working together at the Salem PD has proved interesting in past storylines, and I would love to see Rafe and Hope as a couple sometime in the near future.

ParticipantI actually like the ponytails on both Jennifer and on Sami. I also like their hair down, full, and semi-curled as opposed to flat and parted down the middle. I also hated that bun thing that Sami was wearing for a couple weeks in a row a while back. To me those are unattractive and unflattering to these very beautiful gals. I’ve seen Nicole in some unattractive hairdos as well, and lordy lordy, who looked any worse this week than Adrienne? I don’t know what kind of look she was trying to pull off, but it sure didn’t work for me. However, for the most part, DOOL has beautiful actresses who can make do with a hairstyle that most of us would look atrocious to even attempt to pull off. I think makeup is a big part of Melissa’s drawn look at times. No lipstick or very pale lipstick can make a person look sick, and sometimes Jennifer appears to look ill to me. Oh, well, maybe when we begin to see the results of Lauren Koslow’s husband’s takeover of hair and makeup, we’ll see some improvements.

Participantso how is it simply the browser’s fault? I don’t get it.

Participantbesides, I don’t believe they’ll do that, since we just had baby Ari born recently. Besides, supposedly Kristen can’t have any more children. I know anything’s possible in the world of soap, but that would really be a stretch, and I would absolutely hate it.

ParticipantI swear, I was waiting for a bolt of lightening to come right through the roof of the rectory. LOL! She was terrific in that scene.

ParticipantFebruary, May, August and November, although they usually begin the last week before a weeps month, like February starts around last week in January, May starts last week in April, August begins last week in July, and November starts last week in October. That’s how they usually are shown, unless interrupted by preemptions; then they me a few days off depending on how many days of preemption are involved.

Participantof a very powerful drug/cocktail that certainly would not affect the way he feels toward Kristen when he is in his right mind. He genuinely dislikes her and knows how much she hurt his family. I could never see him actually falling for her. No, I think if Kristen shows that tape during the presentation of the opening of the new school, it will either cause Eric to be so disgusted with what he believes he did, that he will leave the priesthood on his own, since he will feel he betrayed not only his calling but God Himself. He will never be able to forgive his self, even if the truth comes out. But Kristen will have succeeded in destroying everyone she perceives as her enemy, especially Marlena. She is one sick b*tch, but ED sure plays the part with the superior talent and drama it requires. I am getting so sick of her, though! LOL!
