Participantyou know you have a kid with a problem, who, by the way, is 18 now, who is taking and selling drugs, who is rebellious to a fault with everyone except for his druggie friends, who is a liar, a manipulator, a deceiver, and the beat goes on and on …. so yes, Jennifer was and is an enabler, and now she’s trying a different route to get through to her rotten kid …. fact remains, she’s still his mother and I can only believe that just because she’s taking the tough love path, it doesn’t stop her from being concerned. If she takes him back, will he change and do the right thing? Hell, no, he won’t, because he uses people, especially his family, to get what he wants. I don’t think she’s being a bad mother. I think she loves her son. I believe at long last she’s doing the right thing — but, we’ll see. When he goes off the deep end when he finds out about Jack raping Kayla, I still think he will look at everyone and everything through a new set of eyes. If not, send him packing! JMHO!

Participantbut the twist this year is the former players brought back were brought back with one of their loved ones: a wife, a husband, a sister, brother, lover, etc., and I found it interesting that they all thought they would be playing alongside these people, while that’s not what the show had in mind. They are playing AGAINST them …. so when a team loses, players have to assume one of their loved ones will be going home.
Glad Colton took his self out of the game this week. I couldn’t stand that little trouble-making whiney-ass.
I really like John and Candice, who are now both on Redemption Island and will have to face off on one another this week. They are both strong players. Will one let the other have it, or will they battle one another tooth and nail to see who stays and who goes. Can’t believe John didn’t find either one of those hidden immunity idols. That would have saved him.

Participantthis storyline is not about Kayla anymore than it is about Daniel or Jennifer or Abbey, and so forth and so-on. They just happen to be the ones the writers used to get the storyline started. This is about JJ, who sees his father as his hero; who disappeared from his family’s lives more than a magician’s rabbit (thus JJ’s total lack of family and guidance, since he was pushed into boarding school without proper supervision in his life); then, when Jack died (and even long before then), JJ watched his mother move on with her life. He feels his father was betrayed but continues seeing his father in this false light and blaming everyone and anyone when suddenly that light goes out. Yes, Jack eventually was redeemed, but back in the day he did terrible things. Maybe JJ should seek out some answers from his Aunt Adrienne. She could sure tell him a thing or two about his dad. Unfortunately, JJ wasn’t around to see or hear about them. Now, he will be given the opportunity to take off the rose colored glasses and see the father, husband and man that made up Jack Devereaux’s early life; undoubtedly, when he does, this will probably set JJ off on a tantrum the likes of which we have not as yet seen, followed by a long-awaited redemption of this young man. I wish the writers would do this more often.

Participantbetween Anne, Theresa and JJ, I don’t know which one I want to slap the hardest. Oh, and I’ll add Stefano to that trio as well. He has become such a damn comic villain to me. A buffoon, if you will, and that last scene with E.J. and Sami tells me, once Chad goes and Kristen is destroyed, Stefano’s demise may be just what my doctor ordered for my hypertension when it comes to this one …. either my doctor, or Santa can put it on the top of my Christmas wish list. I am so sick of Stefano DiMera and his endless supply of everyone’s fate winding up under his control. He is nothing more than a cardboard villain now. I’ll be happy to put my money on Sami and E.J.

Participantshe sure did seem jealous when she saw Cameron with Gabbi. What is it with girls like this (or guys for that matter)? They don’t want you any longer, but they don’t want anyone else to have you either? Of course, she would still be with Cameron if Chad had not lied about his brain tumor. I think I might like Cameron and Gabbi together, because Nick is definitely obsessed again and I see shades of his and Melanie’s storyline where Nick’s obsession with Gabbi is concerned. I know Camilla is leaving the show as well. Will this be her swan storyline? She breaks it off with Nick and he goes berserk and either kills or harms Cameron or Gabbi … or both? Could this be the start of both Nathan Owens and Camilla Banus’ exit story?

Participantbut she drops enough of a hint that he searches out the answers on his own. I’m sort of glad about this. The way JJ has been degrading Daniel, it will be a sort of justice for JJ to see that Jack was certainly no saint. True, they redeemed him, but Kayla went through hell back then. Good way to put some history back into a storyline. I can’t wait to see what JJ does when he finds out the truth. I say “when” and not “if”, because I’m pretty sure that’s where they are going with this.

ParticipantI thought the bottom two were Bill Nye and his partner, and Christina Milian and Mark Ballas, with Bill Nye going home.

Participantwho is either incapacitated or insecure in some way (Rafe, Chad, Nicole, Will and Sonny, etc.) to compensate for what I’m certain he feels is him being bullied by Stefano and knowing he can’t do a damn thing about it. He needs to stop; it makes him look even weaker. If he has a reason to go after someone for something they’ve done to him or his family on a personal level, then fine; but just inserting his self into someone’s personal space to give them grief, while knowing they can’t or won’t do anything about it is not the E.J. I want to see. It is bullying, to a large degree, and it is not the least bit attractive.

Participantwith still two (or maybe three) more to go this year. Every year she directs one or two more than the year before, which sort of tells me this is the way she would really like to go, maybe even more so than acting. I think she does a good job, but Friday’s show was better than yesterdays, IMO. This is the longest she’s been off-screen as Sami Brady in quite a long time, though, but I’m sure some would think that’s a good thing. LOL!

Participantbetween the unruly hair and the scruffy facial appearance when most time he looks like he needs a shave, his looks really take a hit. SC is a good-looking guy, but most days he just looks unkempt to me. A good haircut and a clean shaven look would do wonders for him.

Participantyour team beat us fair and square, and the Bills deserved the win. We played our game and we lost. I had a feeling after the first half we weren’t in the game. I told you I was impressed with the Bills, and they proved my point today. Joe Flacco and our weak offensive line were my biggest disappointment today (4 interceptions??). Don’t know what happened to our offensive line to our defense for that matter. They just didn’t show up to play today, but the Bills’ did an exceptional job and that’s all that counts. Congrats! I told you, the Bills are impressive this year, so don’t give up on them. It’s a new day and a new year!!!! (Hope you’re right about our bouncing back, though), Congrats again!!!!

Participantbut I do read a lot and these are the same questions that are often asked and answered by people who ARE in the know on other sites, whether they be actual media sites, or message boards such as our own. There are actors, writers, producers, people who are behind the scenes of a show who absolutely ARE the integral part of that show, and who have been asked to answer the same questions we ask on this board and on others I read. Sometimes their answers are extremely interesting and explain a lot that I might not understand. If I have a question, I google it and usually I find my answers.

Participantand that’s right up to date. I think the odds-makers feel with all the new people the Ravens have this year, coupled with the loss of so many of our star players, that we haven’t proven ourselves to be the same team we were last year, and frankly we’re not, but we’re meshing better as a team each week. Incidentally, I think the Bills look pretty good this year for such a young team.

Participantbut DOOL is more like 3-4 months in advance. Right now they are probably shooting February sweeps. That’s why most of these actors cannot say what’s going on in fan interviews; they honestly don’t remember, because they are shooting so far ahead of what we are actually seeing on our screens.
It also has to be said, when we watch an episode of DOOL, the scenes therein do not necessarily mean that everything that is on your screen considered to be an “episode” has been shot in one day. Did I make that too complicated??? In other words, the scenes that we see in a full episode may have been shot over several days and then pieced together when needed. It’s all very complicated….and costly….
Seems to me they should be looking more into cost production and the reasons why DOOL has to shoot so far in advance.

Participantwhere no taping takes place at all. That’s when they do their planned events.
