here’s a girl (and she is a girl to me) who is squeamish about saying “bitch” in front of her Aunt Maggie seriously crushing on a man like E.J. DiMera, who is so in love with Samantha Brady he can’t see straight hmmm …. Samantha v. Abbey …. LOL, talk about comparing oranges and apples. She (Abbey) couldn’t even accept Chad, who, although he lied to her, really was crazy in love with her, but she could adjust to the lifestyle of E.J. Sorry, Bon, but “interesting” is not the word I would use to imagine the possibility of an E.J. DiMera/Abigail Devereaux pairing. Laughable would work for me, though.

but I looked it up and she turned 60 on March 9, and was born in 1953. Galen is, indeed, 42, so Kate is 18 years his senior. Have to admit, she does look good for 60, but then isn’t 60 the new 40 anyway? LOL!

but I want a serious hurt to befall this character. I don’t love to hate Theresa …… I just hate her —- strong word or not. This foul creature would have to stand on a ladder to look a snake in the eye!!!

but it wouldn’t be the first date of birth, or death, or marriage that this show has screwed up. I just chalk it up to bad research.

Gabi is another one I cannot wait to see leave. She has been doing better with her acting, though, I’ll give her that; but, the character has been a complete fail for me and May sweeps cannot come soon enough, IMO. I don’t know if Nick is dead or alive, but this storyline is dead as far as I’m concerned. Too bad, because Blake Berris is a terrific actor and if he is, in fact, dead, he is another victim of a horrible exit. There are so many other avenues they could have traveled down where Nick is/was concerned. Very disappointed with the one they chose.

I agree about Kate being depicted as a “cougar” — Rafe is in his 40’s and Kate is mid-50’s — that’s not a cougar to me either, although I will be glad to see their sexual relationship come to an end. I am interested in Jordon’s hidden identity, though, and still can’t figure out what that is, but it’s certainly better than watching Rafe go into his new place with Kate barging in all hours of the day/night, disrobing as she walks from the door to the bed. Enough!

E.J. an Sami —- can’t get enough of these two. Finally, they are being portrayed like the E.J./Sami I have always wanted to see. Just need for them to now get over their hidden agendas and never again be afraid to tell the other the truth, no matter what it is.

I’m finally beginning to stomach JJ without wanting to strangle him with my bare hands, but Theresa and Anne can both go, and I don’t care how good the actors are in their roles. I don’t even want to see them redeemed — killed off is my preference. I don’t even see the purpose of bringing back Shane and Kim for this wench, and Anne needs an ass-kicking, the likes of which no woman on this show has ever received. Pulverize that bi*ch, as far as I’m concerned.

the best and most truth-revealing I have ever seen them have since they were finally made a legitimate couple. The yelling and loud screaming by both actors was very believable to me, considering everything they are concealing about one another — and isn’t that why they are both so guilty — because the one truth that neither Sami nor E.J. could accept about one another has always been their trust issues. Now that they both have an unscrupulous secret that they are hiding from each other, they are trying to blame those trust issues on the lies they are telling (or not telling) one another to cover up the fact that they are, in fact, not being truthful, and the merry-go-round that is controlling their lives continues. If, in fact, they are ever going to make it, this is the way I see it happening —- pack up the lies, the secrets, the trust issues and stop blaming the other for things you are doing yourself. If not, this relationship is doomed and I don’t want to see that happen. I thought, despite the very loud, very angry tone they both exhibited, I thought it was probably the most truthful they have ever been to one another as to WHY they have the issues they do have. It was very well done, IMO.

nothing about her interests me in any way, shape or form. She might as well be invisible.

I mean, let’s face it, she doesn’t have much luck with the men, and Abbey strikes me as the kind of person that if you show her a little kindness, compliment her, and take into account her “daddy” issues …. seems to me she gets hooked easily, and with E.J. being E.J., being kind to her, showing her his tender side, expressing his self in a manner no one is used to seeing or hearing from E.J. DiMera, I can see Abbey getting all ga-ga over him, especially since she thinks he’s “not a bad man.” Little does she know he can wrap her around his little finger anytime he needs to, but in no way are they chem-testing these two. That would be absurd IMO. No, this will be Abbey’s crush, not E.J.’s. I’m sure that the love of his life is still Sami. I would not, however, put it past him to use Abbey’s sudden affection for him to be a way for E.J. to give Sami a wake-up call as far as their own relationship is concerned. I would never want to see it go any further, though!

since sweeps are over, and it seems that’s when soaps are at their best. Now is the time when they are building other storylines, which gets the fans ready for February sweeps. It’s not just DOOL. Soaps are like a roller coaster —- up and down in-between the 4 sweeps months per year.

so I don’t know how people can believe it was not for money, since PR has joined at least 3 negotiation discussions since he left, with no success. Personally, I don’t care how they write him out, but I say DO it. Kristian is far too wonderful an actress as well as a staple on DOOL to be left floundering like this, and I think most fans are over Bo’s being “out of town” this long, and for what —- to “keep the door open” for an actor who obviously does not want to walk through it unless it’s lined with gold. BAH…cut him loose and give Hope and Ciara a new life. Enough is enough!!!

I’m still in a “removable” cast, one that was made special for me after my surgery, that can be removed when I’m in PT (and, boy, does that hurt). Of course, I’m supposed to keep it on when I’m not doing PT or when I’m not doing my home exercises on days when I’m not in therapy, but honestly I’m getting stronger every day. I can feel my muscles and tendons in my left arm loosening more and more, and I’ve actually reached the point where I can leave the cast off for longer periods of time. So, keep the faith — I’ll be back in full swing and debating our disagreements before you know it! Glad to see at least we agree on Theresa and Ann, cuz I know there’s more trouble lying in wait with those two pea-brains!

I’m still smdh over that game yesterday. Talk about a thriller …. I don’t remember seeing a better one; and watching it in that blizzard-like snowfall just made it more exciting to me. My hopes have begun to resurface, that’s for sure.

I posted these very same responses on another thread, which obviously proves I had not yet read your post above. But, yes, you’re right about their scenes together. They’ve put more than one smile on my face throughout this storyline so far; but I’m afraid their troubles haven’t even begun to surface yet. Love how we think on the same track, though. I also love the sarcasm thrown into every other word when Sami and Nicole share scenes. I, too, would love to see and hear more.

and listening to their snarks and quips at each other has certainly put more than one smile on my face last week. Too many to list my favorites, but two I can recall would be when Kate said that Sami needed to “tone it down”, and Sami bounced back with “sort of like your make-up” (or words to that effect), and also when Kate asked Gabi if she wanted to see Ari’s mother, or her ‘grandmother’ in jail, and Sami immediately followed it with ‘or her GREAT-grandmother. Good stuff from these three, I must say!

she’s listening to too many people saying they love her arms. Yesterday she looked like she was in a halter top, and I don’t care how hot it is under the lights, actors need to dress according to the season they are portraying on screen.

I love Chrishell Stause …. I was so glad when I heard she was coming to DOOL after watching her for so long on All My Children. She’s a completely different type of character here, and off to a sort of slow and sort of boring start, but now that I know she’s at least got a back-story and that we know there is something very secretive about her, I’m a lot more interested. Between Kate finding out that up until a short time before coming to Salem, “Jordan Ridgeway” didn’t exist, then the telephone calls she’s been getting, and subtle changes in her appearance, I definitely see something down the road that will make this character a lot more interesting to me. As for her and Rafe, I do see their chemistry and as long as they keep it moving slowly and not have them hop into bed next week, I’ll continue to support this couple. I’m just waiting to see how Kate is going to respond to Rafe’s interest in Jordan. I’m hoping she has enough on her mind with the Nick storyline to keep it off of Rafe and Jordan growing closer (although I doubt it). I don’t need another Kate and her poison apples or brownies or whatever else storyline. Kate needs to move on from Rafe and accept the fact that Rafe was lonely and jealous of E.J. and Sami, and he allowed his self to think with another part of his anatomy…hence the cougar storyline, which never interested me from the beginning. They were both simply satisfying a sexual need …. that’s it!!!
