ParticipantOnce again the Ravens win in pre-season last night by defeating the Washington Redskins 23-17. R.G.III struggled, but Cousins brought them back nicely. One more pre-season game to go, and then it’s all for real after that, and I’m hoping the Ravens can continue with their winning streak. Even with all of the new young players we have this season, the Ravens seem to be working well together. Hard for me to decide who should go after this first cut; everyone looks that darn good!!! Keeping my fingers crossed for another successful run for the trophy this year.
Orioles facing hard times with the Cubs, even after sweeping the White Sox. Looks like we need to get the heck out of Chicago. LOL!

Participantwhen it came to stalking E.J., so let’s share the blame here! She could have just as easily stopped it in its tracks the first time, but instead she chose to make the first move on him and actually started undressing him first; she stopped him from leaving afterward, even though he did try (who’s going to walk away after that fine young offer of tail); she followed him to the club’s shower, partially undressed, and walked in on him; who’s idea was that one? She followed him to the office, lied to the secretary to get herself in, and propositioned him again, this time actually offering to be his mistress while concealing their affair from Sami, and tried go get him to have sex with her, where he had to embarrass her to get her away from him; and the prize winning one regarding fault is split right down the middle when they attempted to go at it again in the hospital supply closet, when proper ‘Miss Perfect’ Abbey committed what I would call emotional rape, because she actually said to E.J., “you know what you have to do to shut me up.” And it would have happened again, but they were interrupted. So tell me again how Abigail is so not, at least half of, the aggressor here!!! Actually, the one I need here to stop pacifying Abigail and trying to convince her that she is not to blame for any of their affair is E.J.

ParticipantI don’t think anyone is looking for an argument amongst ourselves here; it’s just we all like who we like, and we can’t help that. Some take it as argumentative; I take it as they have their POV and I have mine.

Participantmeant the person who it is filed AGAINST must leave the premises, or cannot be within 50′ of the person(s) who filed it or their property. Weird, just weird how the restraining order was even issued in the first place, since Sami had no real legal “physical” issue with E.J. to even call for him to be restrained, other than he cheated on her and, last I recall, you can’t get a restraining order for that. You can leave, or you can ask the other person to leave, but you cannot legally put them out unless they are causing you or others living with you (children) PHYSICAL harm. Why are we even discussing this, anyway? We all know DOOL has its own library of legal issues, rules and regulations. LOL! I’m just over it!

ParticipantI probably got mixed up with their ages, but I still think Clyde has more than a step-fatherly interest in Jordan, and that’s why she’s so petrified of him, along with the fact that he physically abused Ben. Honestly, I hope I’m wrong about Clyde sexually abusing Jordan, but sometimes the way he looks at her and how petrified she is of him so much as touching her makes me wonder if I could be correct in my suspicions.

ParticipantBen is supposed to be Clyde’s biological child with Jordan’s mother, who died. Jordan was very young (probably a teen) when Ben was born. After their mother died, Jordan stole money from Clyde, took Ben and ran away with him (I think Ben was about 5). Appears she raised Ben until he was old enough to fend for himself, then left him on his own, changed her identity (the licenses) and has been on the run until Ben found her in Salem. That’s all we know of their back-story so far. I’m also wondering if Clyde killed Jordan’s mother because she caught him sexually abusing Jordan. I think Clyde’s a big-time meth-dealer and that’s why they revealed the part where he gave Jeremiah a wad of cash to take to the person back in Poplar Bluff who was severely burned. I think this is why he keeps referring to both Ben and Jordan as “his kids.” Guess we’ll just have to wait and see how the rest of their back-story fills us in.

Participantbut that’s fine. I wouldn’t want to think we were twins separated at birth or something along those lines (age excluded, of course); and it took Jordan quite a while to warm up to Rafe enough to take a damn walk outside of the hospital together, still miles from going to bed with him, until she finally believed she was safe and that Clyde was never going to find her and Ken…I mean Ben. But you’re right about her casting the shadow of boredom everywhere she turns right now, along with her brother (or is he really her brother, or is he her son with dear ole’ dad??? (Just my crazy speculations running away with my mind again).

Participantdon’t you know that when she ventures outside the box she stands on, she’s surely protected by magic, rainbows, and unicorns??? LMAO!!!

Participanttoward end of this post, but typed “Caleb.”

Participantwhich is why pledges, donations and fundraisers are necessary. Look what our pledges and donations have done for Muscular Distrophy. The Jerry Lewis MD telethon raised millions each an every year, and although a permanent cure has not been found, the progression of the disease has slowed allowing people who have MD to live much longer and much more productive lives than ever before. So, yes, I agree that the ALS Icebucket Challenge has been a wonderful way to help with the search for a cure for ALS. The question, as always, is whether or not the money pledged is actually given, or is it just turning into a fanatical show stopper for people who want to do it for the wrong reasons? I would hate to think of that happening with any attempt to raise funds for researching any incurable disease.

Participantand I agree that it’s nice to see Ali outside of DOOL. That’s why I have to smdh when some people can’t separate her from Sami Brady. I have never ever seen her act like Sami Brady on any show she has ever appeared on. I thought she looked very pretty last night on HGN.

Participantabout him being some dumb back-woods hick; I’m thinking Clyde is a very bad, very dangerous man who had control of a very dangerous business back in Poplar Bluff, and he’s now decided to bring that business to Salem, and that would be the drug business. We have already had an inkling of E.J. taking over that business once again from Victor, and I’m suspecting a big storyline to open soon in that regard. As for Jordan, my belief is that he did a hell of a lot more to her than what we’ve been led to believe. The young woman is petrified of even being on the same planet with this man. I think Clyde sexually abused this girl (this is my opinion, not a spoiler). Also, as far as Kate, it’s about time she got knocked off her pedestal a bit, don’t you think? I do!! I love the way Clyde stopped her in her tracks when he suggested going to Rafe and letting him know just exactly who came where seeking whom, all which ended in bringing Caleb to Salem. We’ll see, but I think as creepy as this guy is, he is going to wind up being a very successful villain on DOOL.

Participantas in Ken and Barbie. I think that’s going to be my new name for Ben and Abbey. Fits perfectly! He’s like a mannequin.

ParticipantI watched the special they had on Kelly and his family recently, and the trials and tribulations they have had to go through, not only with Jim but with their young son as well. It’s about time they got something to be optimistic about. I wish Jim and his family all the best and sincerely hope his health continues to improve, and keeping my fingers crossed he is successful in acquiring the Bills and keeping them in Buffalo.

Participantand bite Will in the rear, and I’m glad it did. As for Sonny, he started out great with admonishing Will for the article, but he’s so afraid of the truth coming out about how Will got the job in the first place that he’s willing to throw his self under the bus and just keep his mouth shut. This entire mess is on my last nerve. I don’t feel sorry for anyone in today’s show. They ALL deserve exactly what they’re getting, from Sami and E.J., to Abigail, Kate, Rafe, Will, Sonny, the whole damn lot of them. The whole show today gave me a damn headache.
