I’ve been out all day ‘multi-tasking’ and didn’t see that on the news. Prayers to her family, and may she rest in peace. If there’s an afterlife, I’m sure Joan will keep it quite humorous, although I’m sure she’d tone it down some. Condolences to her daughter Melissa and her family.

I thought that was a terrible line they gave Jen Lilley yesterday when she told Anne she couldn’t bear to be at the hospital today because “today’s the day they’re shipping John off to the ‘vegetable farm’.” Horrible line, IMO. She could just as easily have said ‘they’re transferring John to a long-term care facility today.’ As if Theresa isn’t bad enough, that line just made her sound even more despicable to me. Lord, I hope stupid Brady didn’t impregnate her yesterday, and I also couldn’t help feeling that he was fantasizing that it was Kristen in his bed…not Theresa.

and even though the writing for E.J. has been atrocious lately, I just can’t see anyone on this show today bringing me as much joy as these two have. I’ve stocked up on my Kleenex, because I know I’ll be bawling like a baby when their last scenes are shown.

evidently Kristen will be John’s salvation.

They (Sami and Lucas) were a bit taken back by it, but they QUICKLY adjusted to it and supported Will to the max, and have grown to love Sonny and constantly remind BOTH Will and Sonny how much they love them being together. These damn writers just cannot stop themselves from rewriting history. But they have to have a plot for Will and Sonny’s relationship seeming to fail, and this was evidently it. It’s so frustrating!!!

glad to hear the good news regarding Sammy Watkins. I forgot about the Hall of Fame game. I know you’re as psyched as I am to get this party started. Good Luck!!!

most teams don’t even use any of their starters let alone star prospects in the last game of pre-season. It’s mostly played to decide who stays and who goes and who’s showing promise, so that is a surprise that Sammy even played with an injury, especially since the pre-season game wins have no bearing on standings. Anyway, much luck to you casey. I always enjoy chatting football with you. By the way, did the Bills at least come away with one pre-season win, or did you mean 0-4 or 1-3 for them? I know the Cowboys and the Colts both came away with a 0-4 pre-season result. NOW, we’re officially off to the races!!!

with the Orioles taking 3 out of 4 from Tampa Bay and the Ravens defeating New Orleans last night resulting in an undefeated pre-season, yep, I’m hyped. Loving the fact that the ONLY first-stringer to play for the Ravens last night was Justin Tucker, who was perfect on the night, scoring 5 for 5 field goal attempts. The young man is simply awesome! Ozzie and Harbaugh, along with the other coaches, are sure going to have a tough time making final cuts to get the team down to 53; they’re all just that darn good. O’s may not have the best starting pitchers in all of baseball, but they sure do have the best bullpen. I’m so proud of BOTH our teams, I just can’t help bragging about them. Hoping the “best” is yet to come!!!

to watch Kate and Rafe, it would be 10 times worse to see a 53-year old woman seducing an 18-year old. Talk about your cougar syndrome with Kate all you want, but watching Eve seducing a cub like JJ would take the “granny” cougar way way way too far; but, hey, with these writers it would certainly be no surprise. I would have to have a whole different meaning for “yuck, yuck, yuck” if it happens, though!!! LOL!

she was wonderful on OLTL, but she’s drowning on DOOL. No wonder she talks the show up so much on Twitter; she’s probably just as afraid of being out of a job as anyone else once AS, JS and ED leave. Pity!

Also, I don’t know what’s worse: Rafe and Jordan’s longing stares or Hope and Aiden’s gala flashbacks. All 4 of them remind me of high-schoolers (or maybe middle-schoolers)!!! Boooooooo!!!!

that’s exactly how I see it now. He knows how much Sami is hurting; he knows she’s dug herself a huge hole with the Board; he knows he and/or Stefano are the only ones who can get her out of that hole; and worst of all he now realizes how much she needs him. I don’t mean to say he doesn’t love her, as does she still love him. It’s just that now he sees it as the shoe being on the other foot as far as how desperate she has become now that she realizes she did in fact go overboard with everyone, not just Abbey. A lot can happen in two more months, and I have every expectation that these dark waters will recede (if TPTB don’t kill him off, that is); I just need him to take a step back and look at what this affair is costing him, Sami and what it will do to their children if they can’t repair the severe damage they have done to one another. As for Abigail, I don’t care one way or the other what happens to her and her life after E.J. DiMera. I still hope she pays dearly for it one day.

and that’s exactly why. He has no business trying to convince Abigail that she has no fault whatsoever in their affair, and that the entire matter is/was solely HIS fault. No wonder she is gaining confidence and suddenly getting in everyone’s face. I know that E.J. has been putting up with a lot of crap from Sami, Kate, Will, Lucas, Nicole (like she has room to talk), Marlena, Maggie, Jennifer, hell, everyone in Salem for that matter, but he doesn’t have anything to prove to anyone except SAMI, and he certainly is NOT doing that any longer, yet he’s still giving Abbey complete absolution for her part, as well as a reason to suddenly gain the defiance to fight back instead of realizing that what they both willingly did to Sami was wrong on every level. So, yes, he’s really starting to tick me off as well.

guess they’ll try and squeeze all these unanswered questions into November sweeps.

and I would protect my kids and my grandkids with my life, but you can bet your sweet bottom I would let them have a good dose of criticism when I got them alone; give them the wake-up call they deserved to have and not tell them they were still perfect and could do no wrong in my eyes. This is where I think Jennifer is an enabler to her kids …. both to Abigail and to J.J., although she was much tougher on J.J. than she was on Abbey; maybe it’s a mother/daughter thing, I don’t know, but I absolutely could slap Jennifer for the way she’s handling her daughter’s situation here. And, just for the record, I hope Sami chokes Abigail today for slapping her, and if E.J. comes to that twit, Abbey’s, rescue …. then I hope Sami really does throw him out because then he would not be worth fighting over to me.
