there’s not one character any and all writers will eventually ruin; but, truth is, I do like Melanie, but she was not liked once she got involved with Philip and the mess that came with it; however, that being said, I will take Mel over anything we are seeing on our screens today.
first thing I said to myself when we saw Eric’s apartment was, "OMG it’s Ben’s shot from different angles and with different props." Cheap, cheap, cheap Corday, NBC, SONY … and you wonder why your ratings are down?
My opinion of the JJ/Paige/Eve storyline is simply this … I CAN’T STAND IT, THEIR STORY OR THEM FOR THAT MATTER! Sorry to yell, but what the hell is interesting about a storyline when you can’t stand the characters in it? I’m not exactly crazy about Theresa, but I’d watch her "x" amount of days in a row rather than watch Eve, her snoozeworthy daughter, or ridiculously stupid JJ Devereaux for even one. Then when you add JJ’s mother throwing idle threats around, plus Abigail’s expectations for everyone to sudenly starting to respect her because her x-boyfriend got her her job back ….. well, just NO THANK YOU!
I have always liked Melanie, and was happy to have her back. Looks like she’s hiding some angst of her own right now, so let’s get to it. Anything’s better than what I’ve been watching.
I sort of smdh when I see Nicole and Daniel in this "I’ll play your stupid sports if you’ll promise to be my friend" s/l. I do like AZ and SC together, regardless of how much flak they take on other boards, but at least write an interesting story for them, if that’s where this is going.
I wanted to see the roles that Lisa and Eileen would be involved with. Lisa was on the epi; Eileen was not, so I suppose she’ll be joining next week. I watched the trailer, though, and Lisa seemed to be enthralled with meeting Eileen (surprised me, because I thought they knew one another), but what struck me funny right from the start with Eileen was when she was being questioned about her roles on Y&R and DOOL (especially DOOL) and she was asked if she killed anyone and her reply was "not yet." Wondered if that was just meant to be funny or if it was foreshadowing. Guess we’ll see, but I agree with both of you, though in that this does not seem to be the sort of role I would have imagined ED would take, but hey for the money she’s raking in for it, I suppose I can see her reason a little more clearly. LOL!
how’s that for a "go figure" moment….KC kicks butt and takes names when they beat Peyton and the Denver Broncos, then turn around last night and lose to the winless up til’ then Oakland Raiders? LOL! What a season!!!
they are moving the Buffalo game to Monday night in Detroit. Wow, that was some storm they had up there, and I really can’t remember that happening before, so looks like both our teams will be playing Monday night football this week. Can’t remember that happening before either.
from what I’ve seen on our local news, which has dominated weather channels here as well, it is really frightening to see what the people directly hit by this monstrosity of snow are going through. I can’t even imagine what 100" of snow would look like, but take care and stay warm and safe.
I’m sure the field for Sunday’s game won’t be a problem, and a warm-up is expected, so good luck to both our teams. Ravens really needed that bye week, so let’s see how it pays off in New Orleans this week. The loss the Bills took in that Miami game was such a shame. I know how it feels when those turnovers cause a team to lose.
folks have always complained about watching John and Marlena kiss because it looked like he was trying to swallow her, but I honestly felt nauseated watchig Clyde and Kate trying to promote amore. First off, I simply do not like watching people their age display that kind of affection, regardless of the circumstance. It just looks gross to me. Even Maggie and Victor don’t go that route, and Maggie is very attractive, IMO. I felt the same way about Kate and Ian. Too much!!!
he’s trying waaay too hard to appear to be a "ladies" man, flirting with every woman who comes in his room. Why do I get the feeling he will come between Sonny and Will? JMO!

Then, he told her he would be by soon to check on her again, which I imagined he will continue with the hormone therapy so she can continue with the pregnancy. Just speculating, but that’s what I’m thinking.
remembering that she was injected with something when she was with Mandrake before the procedure took place; plus today he called Kristen and asked how she was doing and said he would stop by to check her soon. I took that as a sign that he will continue to give her hormone therapy to ensure that she would be able to continue with a healthy pregnancy. It’s far-fetched, to say the least, but that’s what I’m imagining will happen. Now, how she will convince Brady (if in fact she returns with a child) that the child is theirs is totally inconceivable, since they were not intimate at any time during her return.
and it appears to me that he can’t stand the fact of anyone messing up or making him look bad. Maybe he should have thought about that when he made a slip-up. Sadie is sensational but he’s really tough on his partners. Always has been.
on other boards I lurk on indicating the possibility that Chase shot his mother and Aiden was protecting his son. The only reason I can even begin to suspect that is if the boy’s memory has simply blocked it out completely, because he has not shown signs of anything but love for his mother. The thing bothering most posters with Aiden’s storyline is how can a child sleep through the loud arguments and then a gunshot. I may be wrong but didn’t Aiden say that someone came and woke Chase and took him out so he would not see his mother’s body??? Just something some are speculating, but it would make a great storyline, I will admit.
that there would be no physical sign of Theresa’s body being altered is if Kristen’s doctor performed the transplant vaginally, and there would be no sign of invasive surgery to see. Therefore, unless Theresa had to be actually cut open, there would be no evidence that she was ever pregnant, or that she was but the fetus was removed. Then, of course, we would have to imagine that Kristen’s doctor had to prepare her body to accept the transplant and that it would survive. Guess that would explain why Kristen received that injection from Mandrake while they were still in Kristen’s room. Some type of hormones, and I’m just guessing here.
