so he was either wearing a bullet-proof fest, or he’s superman, because Vic’s man shot him 3 times at close range right in the chest.  It’s logical to think he’ll keep it under wraps so Victor will believe he’s dead.  This IS, afterall, the beginning of sweeps, so I’m looking forward to some of these stories moving now.  All I can say to that is it’s about darn time.  The show was a real sleeper up until now.  I’m thinking the big stories beginning today are those that were shown, which would be the Sonny/Will/Paul reveal; Nicole’s once again being completely wrong about Serena’s secret (I’m hoping that the guy is setting things up to go after Serena because he’s after whatever Serena knows is in those artifacts and he wants it for him….but Nicole will lose the most from it; Victor’s failed attempt by his hitman to take out Clyde and all that will come from it; and Aiden’s and Hope’s discovering that Meredith is alive and whether or not Aiden is dark or pure as the driven snow; and, of course, the return of Kristen and the reveal of Theresa’s stolen fetus s/l.  So please, writers, do not disappoint.  We’ve had quite enough of that.  Also, I’m hoping we may get some movement on the JJ/Eve reveal.  Just hope I’m not getting too excited resulting in much ado about nothing.

but I truly like her, and I’m actually not minding her at all with Brady.  They make each other better in lots of ways.  So, yes, I like Mel a lot, so I’m looking forward to see how she’s going to handle the return of Kristen, and the whole Theresa’s stolen baby sl coming up.

Love AZ, Nicole not so much, so until she stops shooting herself in the foot, I’ll just sit back and watch her continue to destroy her own happiness.

Totally agree about Victor; I can’t wait to see how he will resolve this feud with Clyde, but I’m putting my money on Vic getting rid of this pukefest, one way or the other.

The whole Will/Sonny/Paul sl is being done very well, IMO.  Wish they could write that well for some of these other sls, whether people want to watch them or not.  There’s always the FF button for those who don’t.

I will always love Rafe, and now that he’s running Vic’s new club but keeping his detective nose in Clyde’s as well as Chad’s business, that’s just fine with me.  Jordan will be leaving soon, so I’m hoping they find a good match for GG, because that guy is hot as a firecracker, IMO.

John and Marlena are together again, and that’s a start, but they both need more exciting stories.  Maybe now that John is back on the force, we’ll see sme progress there, but I hope they don’t screw it up with the return of Kristen.

I wish Clyde would show Kate his true colors and she winds up helping Victor instead of fighting him, because watching Clyde and Kate having romantic scenes makes my eyes bleed…that’s how disgusting they are to me.

Dan needs to find a woman and stick to her.  So tired of his on again/off again lovers.

Aiden and Hope have grown stale so until we find out his backstory with the death (or not) of his wife, I have become bored with their scenes.

with JJ that she can’t stand losing him, and by thinking her feelings were reciprocated by him, or worse that he cheated on her, now she just can’t walk away without wanting to know who could make him to do that to her.  And yes, this is one time where she definitely should find out, no matter how bad it hurts her.  Then she can wash her hands of both of them.  I wish she (or we) knew who her father was.  Maybe this guy needs to come to Salem and get his daughter away from there and her lousy mother, and hopefully that would be Frankie Brady.

it hurts to watch him with despicable Eve; but, truth be told, he brought it on himself so I can’t feel too sorry for him in that repect.  I have a feeling, though, that Cole is the leopard who doesn’t change his spots, and something is going to happen where Paige will be put in danger through association with this kid.  I’m not falling for his sudden repenting ways for a minute, and maybe somehow that’s how we’ll finally get the end of this atrocious sl between Eve and JJ.  I hate Kassie in this role even more than Casey Moss.  They are both capable of so much more.  They could have had her fighting JJ’s connection with Paige until the cows came home and I wouldn’t have minded it one bit, no matter what she did, but once they put them together sexually, that was it for me.  Then we have Jennifer trying to get to the bottom of her son’s lovelife, making it that much more disgusting to me.  I really need this sl to end, but it’s like a bad accident and I can’t look away.  I’m actually beginning to think Eve is starting to have true feelings for this young man, which is even more disgusting to me.

head to toe, but as for her hair, I’d still prefer it a bit longer; perhaps just to her jawline, like in a bob, but a bit full, if  you get what I mean.  The only hairdo I did not like is the one she wore at the new club opening.  I realize there’s not much you can do with that short hair, but when they pull it up in sort of a peak on top, that’s not flattering to me at all; but hey, the woman could be bald and she would still be a beauty.

but, if so, then yes that would be typical and boring.

The actress hired to play Paul’s mother is recurring (so far), so I don’t see why they would waste a large amount of time getting her too involved with a connection to Salem through her son, but we’ll see.  Maybe she was just upset because the grandfather is really not doing well and she just doesn’t want Paul to know.  Just a guess, but please … not another new character connected through biology, known or unknown.  I know the cast is told to play up the sls and the writers, but do they really believe TomSell are great (I’m talking to you, Lauren Koslow), or do they walk away from an interview laughing up their sleeves after spouting their praises?  James was the ONLY one with enough gonads to express how he really felt, and oh how I miss that!

and gone.  She will remain on screen until sometime in March, so I would guess that could be a possibility of who could be shot as well.  She is determined to get Ben away from Clyde, so I could see Clyde or one of his cronies taking her out to prevent that from happening.

if we are going to have another biological kid belonging to someone in Salem, and that’s sad.  These damn writers tic me off so much.  No creativity whatsoever if that turns out to be the case.  Then, if it’s in the Kiriakis/Brady geneology chart, that makes it worse, because then it becomes incest as well.  With no mention of Paul’s father, and only hearing him talk to his mother and grandfather, I’m beginning to suspect this, but I hope I’m wrong.

There will definitely be some sort of catastrophe for Clyde, IMO, and it can’t come soon enough for me.  The actor is gerat in the role, but he needs to know that he can’t roll into Salem and think he can take out Victor or Stefano; no, I don’t buy that for a minute.  As a matter of fact, I read that there will be a shooting soon in Salem and someone will be left for dead, but nothing else about the who, what, when, where or why.  I’m wondering now whether that could be Clyde.  If so, perhaps Jordan will take him out, who knows?  And please writers, stop with the Kate/Clyde kissing.  It is truly disgusting to watch. So glad Rafe told her and Clyde that he couldn’t care less what happens to Kate or who she’s with.  You go, Rafe!  Love him and Victor teaming up to take care of that vermin Clyde.

and how long do they intend to keep Nicole the punching bag of Salem’s hypocrites?  It’s getting to the point where I’m afraid that AZ is going to get as fed up with her life as I am and just say "the hell with this….see ya!"  Daniel did back her up somewhat today, but certainly not in a way to make Nicole feel she was anywhere in the right.  And Eric, referring to Nicole as "that woman" and later that Nicole is "poison" just made me want to slap his face, and I actually like Eric.  I know he’s having a hard time forgiving Nicole, but it’s disgraceful that the writers do NOT seem to want to write for Nicole unless she’s depicted as something brought in on the bottom of every shoe in Salem.  Free Nicole, damn it!!!

Ravens Offensive Coordinator is Denver bound as the Bronco’s new "head coach".  Too bad for us; he was a great OC, but I expected it as soon as they announced tht Gary’s close friend, John Elway, wanted to offer him the position after they fired Fox.  I hate to see him go, but at least we have time to do a good search for his replacement.  Kubiak’s roots are in Denver so it’s no surprise.  I just wish he didn’t make that remark that he had no intention of leaving the Ravens when he was being propositioned by other teams.  Of course, that was before he learned Denver fired Fox and wanted to offer him the head coaching job, but good OC’s are not a rarity.  Hope we pick up a good one, but knowing Ozzie Newsome’s history, I’m sure we’ll be satisfied with his replacement.  Question is, will Joe Flacco, who seemed to really get on well with Kubiak?  Joe knows the Ravens so well, I’m a little surprised they don’t allow him to call his own plays anyway, but we’ll see how this works out for us in the long run.

directly related to the problem with this show.  To many stories going on at once requiring too many extremely large sets, so rather than dismantle them completely, they simply broke them into small versions of the originals.  Right now we’re seeing the DiMera and Kiriakis "studies" rather than the full mansions.  Also, with the show moving so quickly (compared to other soaps), they have to set up and break down sets quickly, so a good deal of the original sets have been downsized, but I read that they’re still around.  We’ll probably view dfferent parts of the original sets as the s/l calls for from time to time.

As for Anne, she was so funny on Friday at the new club.  Still, she’s comic relief only, so unless they give her some kind of backstory or give her a man of her own, she remains simply a prop for Theresa, and after a while it gets stale.  The actress’ lines are funny though, and her dance moves on Friday made me laugh out loud.

I really thought they were going to win; as for the Patriotss, I honestly thought they would do exactly what they did and crush the Colts, but I did expect a little better performance from Luck and the Colts.  Instead, they looked pathetic and completely out of their league, which they were, IMO.  Luck may be a very good QB, but he certainly didn’t prove that to me yesterday.  Well, since I have no horse in this race, and since I really don’t care who wins it (LOL), I’ll just predict a SB win for the Patriots win this season.

and since it was not a scheduled preemption and DOOL resumed with only 15 minutes left, the Friday show will not be shown on Monday.  I watched Friday’s show on line today in its entirety.

with John being back on the force of the Salem PD.  I’m not looking forward to him having anything to do with Kristen, since her story arc when she returns will be very short; however, I can’t help but think he will be involved with opening up a very large can of worms where Clyde and Chad are concerned.  Serena’s role is, I think, a red herring as far as her hidden agenda, which I think has nothing to do with hurting Eric.  I’m sure Nicole will try to make it appear that way, but once again Nicole will be shooting herself in the foot.  Melissa Archer is doing a great job, IMO, and she’s another OLTL cast-off who I think is a really good actress.  I would be very surprised if her intentions would have anything to do with hurting Eric.
