so it could be that as well, but I don’t think she’s been nailed down yet for the 50th, but I’m sure she’ll try to make it. Sami Brady is a legendary character, and AS should certainly be there for DOOL’s 50th, IMO.
because some of her work was also written with Tomsell, who were writers when she was here as well. Plus, a lot of her stuff was taken from Sheffer sls, and a good deal of her writings were done as a "scab" when the strike was on and she wrote for her husband. But, from what I can remember, some of her work included these sls (and some with Tomsell as well):
1. Safe (She loved them), which is why GG is now on twitter (as well as his wife) singing her praises and thanking someone from above indicating it’s about time. LOL!
2. She is very fond of AZ (which is a good thing AFAIC);
3. Carbo-2 (Bo/Carly) the second time around;
4. Robo John (Ava Vitali as lover and brother of Stefano DiMera);
5. I think she may have written the Johnny eye cancer and loss of his eye storyline, but I’m not sure aout this one.
6. Nicole Sydnapping;
7. I think she created Sonny Kiriakis;
8. Definitely the plane crash resulting in the death of Shawn, Sr.
9. War between DiMera/Kariakis
10. Early EJAMI as a couple;
11. Night-time Hope;
12. Baby switch with Sami’s and Mia’s babies.
These are some I think I recall. She has always loved SAFE; EJAMI; AZ; GG; but not so much the DH’s, although I think she wrote more for John than Marlena.

everybody’s cup of tea, but I think he’s doing better than when he first took over the Will Horton role. I did not like him at all first, but that’s because I was so used to Chandler Massey; but, now that I think about it, Massey looks like a baby boy compared to Guy, and I don’t think he could have handled these scenes well. At least Guy looks the right age for the part. I don’t mind GW as much as most do, but I did prefer Massey for the longest while. I guess he’s (GW) growing into the role for me, although I wish he was a better crier (LOL). He does not emote extreme sadness well, but not everyone can be as great a crier as AZ. Look as Kristian Alfonso. Hope is another horrible crier.
I’m convinced Will truly loves Sonny; however, he did betray his husband, and it takes a great deal of forgiveness to accept that. Question for me will be will Sonny be capable of forgiving Will, or will he leave his family and return to Paul, who obviously still has some place in Sonny’s heart, or will it take forever and a day for Sonny to even remember what Derrick told him? I think this is being written extremely well.
This elephant sl with Serena and Eric has gone on long enough. I now need to know what in hell that elephant is carrying, who is calling Serena, is she being forced to do this, is Serena protecting Eric from harm by getting this elephant, does the person calling Serena have someone else involved that Serena would not want to see hurt, …. just too many unexplained reasons to warrant that this is not a good s/l, but I am anxious to get to the bottm of it, because I really do like Melissa Archer in this role, and it’s Eric that I find boring, not Serena; however, that being said, I’m hoping she really does care for Eric, but let’s get on with it, shall we writers?

hair and make-up were outstanding, and I thought she looked really pretty. I liked her hair much better than that stark too tight bun and that middle part. Drove me nuts. I thought the same thing about Nicole yesterday. Her hair was sort of fuller and her make-up was gorgeous, but, of course, so is AZ, so it doesn’t take much to make her look beautiful.
but I really don’t know if he will remember that he was rushing to catch Will at Paul’s or not. I’m really hoping they don’t turn this into another amnesia sl, but when all of this hits the fan, it’s definitely going to be good drama. On the other hand, will Sonny be able to forgive Will? Will he be willing to walk away from his husband and the step-daughter that he has grown to love so much, or will he go back to Paul when he realizes that Paul had no idea Will was Sonny’s husband? Victor already suspects that it was an "eye for an eye" attack, but he still thinks Clyde is dead, so this will make Victor once again return to his very dark side, and I don’t think even Maggie will be able to control his vengence. Finally, someone woke these writers up.
Justin is returning….just exactly when I don’t know….but I do know it won’t be for very long. Something tells me they are going full steam ahead with Lucas and Adrienne, and sorry but I just can’t see them as a couple.
Then, of course, there’s the reveal of Eve and JJ, as well as Kristen’s return, so it looks like we’ll have plenty to be talking about for a good while anyway. I’m just glad to finally see a good sweeps with some fantastic writing.
I really am trying to believe that she’s being forced into this for some reason, but she certainly isn’t making it look that way. I think Eric is beginning to have doubts, but he’s certainlyl giving her the benefit of them. I hate to see this man get screwed over again. One thing I’m pretty sure of, and that’s that Melanie doesn’t know anything about this. Lots of people thought she did, but I think Mel’s as in the dark about her secret as everyone else is.
was going try to comfort Paul and wind up sleeping with him again. He still might, because they evidently won’t know what happened to Sonny yet, but I hope Will is not that far gone.
I can’t wait for this one to blow up. I’m happy to see that Paige is finally putting her in her place where HER (Paige’s) life is concerned, but boy, when she finds out that the person who slept with JJ is her own mother …. well, this will undoubtedly open another umbrella s/l that will affect so many others than just Paige and JJ, and that’s what good writing is all about … getting everyone involved, just like they’re going to be doing with the Will/Sonny/Paul sl. Now if they can stay on this track, I will not be complaining about the show as much. Keep it going writers.
Aiden is trying desperately to conceal the fact that CHASE shot his mother and has repressed those memories. I don’t have any idea if it will be written that way, but until I see that Aiden is some sort of psycho in disguise, that will continue to be my belief that it’s Chase that shot his mother.
I totally agree with your entire post. These are exactly the people I would like to see leave DOOL. I have no use for any of them. I would also like to see Eve destroyed, along with Clyde, Ben, Chad and Jordan, and even yes, Abigail Devereaux, who has always been a pain in the arse to me. I can’t think of a time when I despised so many characters at one time on this show.
and my rooting emotions were reserved. On the one hand, I didn’t want Seattle to repeat, but on the other hand I never root for the Pats, but when you think about it, both of these teams are terrific. That play was definitely a disaster. Whoever thught they should pass from the one yard line with Lynch right there, who can literally carry the ball over the goal line with guys hanging onto him, has to be kicking his self in the butt over and over again today. Even if he didn’t make it, they still had 25 seconds on the clock. Talk about the worst call ever in NFL history, that was it! Now, the deflate-gate investigation will continue, so the Pats will have that to face.

I don’t think Eric knows anything about it other than it’s something he brought back from Africa. This is why this show needs backstories. All we ever got out of Eric’s adventures in Africa was the priest who mentored him, something about a little girl, and the death of that priest, for which Eric blames himself, which is what made him turn to the priesthood. There wasn’t even a mention of Serena until she came back. Weird!
